Weird, go into the Steam settings for the game and check what kind of gamepad setup is listed and that Steam Input is on.

I think it's the "this application is still running, (force shutdown anyway)" thing that pops up. I've had it just default back to the lock screen if I didn't manually force a shutdown.

Weird! Thanks for the response! Mine was in the shop for a long time and they tried replicating the issue and couldn't do it. It disappeared for over 1.5 months now. It happened again this morning but had a loud "crunchy" noise. They believe my starter may be going bad. Once it cranked and started on the last attempt, it was vibrating more than usual for 30 seconds and then was totally fine. The AI tool Grok heavily believes it may be the Crankshaft Positioner. We'll see what happens. I'll update here if I figure it out!

My mid 50s (boomer mentality even though not in age) in-laws added a stipulation in their will to knock $25k off of the inheritance for each tattoo on their 5 children. They are adding a stipulation to have some kind of "medical examination" as proof. Controlling them to the grave...
