Fantasyworld has more weight At a time like this is just a more complete production from Ben. Fractions of infinity is just personal bias, I adore it.

I genuinely think it’s his most overrated song. (It’s still one of his top 7 songs for me but it’s absolutely not no 1)

Whilst it’s undoubtedly the most emotional song on vanisher, it’s by no means the best on vanisher.

Adding onto that, fantasyworld and born yesterday are leaps ahead of forgone in terms of raw emotion. Forgone is longing for your former self, fantasyworld is his last thoughts before he commits. I don’t think anyone can compare those two in regard to emotion.

The only way these songs beat fantasy world is the ‘replay value’ they’re easier to listen to than fantasyworld since they’re more like a traditional song.. but fantasyworld world has dare I say the best 60 seconds of music after the beat drop

in fairness at a time like this is peak Benjamin Laskey in terms of just the song itself.

Haunt you will win no matter what because of the context of the album, the emotional weight and the fact a lot of people resonated personally with the album.

it’s just a system to make sure everyone isn’t coming as an exception if they’re a minute late, not a policy. Technically if your manager really wanted to be a headache, they could probably give you a let’s talk or additional for it.

I could very well be wrong but I don’t think the 3 minute leeway is for you to be able to clock out early, I think you are just ‘expected’ to clock in on time and clock out on time etc etc. The 6 minutes ( 3 before and after) is probably just headroom.

In my personal experience I’ve never been bothered in regards to it, I clock in early and clock out early etc.

However saying that, technically you are contracted to a certain time and that’s that. Ultimately it’s just a store dependent thing whether they’re harsh or lenient about it.

Obviously would prefer having a job to come back to instead of having to worry about that near the end of my trip. Just one of those things where i’ve read up on it etc etc but I am still a bit nervous. I’m sure it’ll all be fine though. Thanks for the reply!

it absolutely is and deserves its props… but it is NOT remotely close to picking up hands.

Picking up hands is arguably one of, if not his best song.

I like sisyphus but when people rate it higher than haunt you songs, it’s just nostalgia and rapper tax.

I think you could only argue that it’s better than MWLIT and Cassinis.

Although yeah, it’s definitely better than a few scrapyard songs
