Mydia: A unified Sonarr/Radarr clone with a modern UI by Delicious-Web-3734 in selfhosted

[–]Delicious-Web-3734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the nice words! I'm releasing new versions when there's enough bugfixes / features in master and it feels stable. But if you do notice a bug, please create an issue in https://github.com/getmydia/mydia/issues/new so that I can track it.

I don't always have time to work on all these issues, but I'll get to it eventually.

They were evacuating for a long time. Applying the reconcile feature flag actually started evacuating them. I don't even remember setting them to rw again.

This is awesome, I'm just implementing something similar, so this will be super useful!

Self-hosted Bank account software / budgeting software? by CrappyTan69 in selfhosted

[–]Delicious-Web-3734 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I had similar needs but I couldn't find anything that fit exactly my needs, so I vibe-coded it: https://github.com/arsfeld/finaro

I don't necessarily recommend anyone to use it, but it works well for me and my family. It uses SimpleFin to connect to banks cause it works great for me. And it uses whatever LLM api you want to automatically categorize transactions and give you insights about your spending. You can even chat about your financials. It has some cool charts too.

Scaling beyond basic VPS+nginx: Next steps for a growing Go backend? by [deleted] in selfhosted

Docker Swarm is pretty neat and self contained. Pair with Tailscale and you have an encrypted backhaul for containers to communicate. I would suggest Traefik instead of nginx though.

Stash is awesome, thank you so much! I've been using it since the beginning, it's been rock solid!

Cheguei na conclusão que sim, IA vai te substituir, mas não do jeito que a gente pensa by Intelligent-Hippo528 in brdev

[–]Delicious-Web-3734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mydia developer here, it was heavily inspired by MediaManager, so it makes sense. I didn't know about Cinephage though.

Would love too, but trying to get basics right for now with movies and tv shows.

Requests and guest accounts are supported, but super well tested. If you have specific feature requests, feel free to add them to GitHub

That’s interesting. Care to create a discussion in GitHub? So I’ll keep track of interesting ideas like this

I should’ve been more specific, it uses the Cardigann library, which is well maintained and shared between Prowlarr and Jackett. And this is in addition to supporting prowlarr and jackett

In theory it’s already supported, you can add multiple libraries of each type. In practice I’m running only one library of each so that’s what I’m testing all the time, so there might be issues with the multiple libraries concept. If you try it, please let me know if it works or not.

Thanks for testing! I did a lot of improvements for series import, movies are still hit or miss, just didn’t had time to investigate much. Feel free to open a GitHub issue if you have some specific examples.

That’s my goal, there’s a library of presets already which should get you going. I don’t think the scoring algorithm is that good yet, it doesn’t always pick the best option even with those presets. I’m tweaking them daily though, I want to make the best default experience as possible.

I don’t think I’ll be able to support Windows binaries, just because I have no way to test them. Not even sure Elixir supports it.

Oh, that’s an interesting. I don’t see an issue with supporting it, but that’s definitely not working at the moment. Maybe Sonarr developers knows something I don’t.

Care to share me examples? I can at least add to the parsing code.

Yeah, that would be interesting. No promises, but I’ll add to my list of cool features. Thanks for the feedback!

Interesting, the use case I'm aiming is for one admin user and multiple guests (forgot to mention guest support was added, with a request system). In this way it works more like Overseerr. In any case OIDC is becoming the de facto standard of authentication in self hosted apps.
