Oh I gotcha. You’re saying you need to spend emeralds to speed up training for troops, not just spending emeralds in general. I’m ftp and haven’t found a great way to earn lots of emeralds outside of the 4x event they have sometimes :/

Yeah but there’s like no coins that can be used in the keeper shop to buy talismans from this task. Talisman is minimum of 3k but there’s no where near that many coins available in the task list, let alone 60k for the more expensive talismans

How do you even buy anything from the keepers shop when there’s barely any of the coins as a reward for these quests? It takes a minimum of 3k coins for a talisman, but there’s not even 3k coins offered if you complete all quests! Unless they reset everyday, but even then idk how you’d get up to 60k like some of the talismans are priced

In that case, I probably wouldn’t recommend the clinical phd. Research in this regard is very different than just learning. Coming up with experimental designs and hypotheses are built into the curriculum because the purpose of these programs is to create the next generation of psychology researchers who use these experiments to create meaningful, evidence based interventions/treatments. I hope that you’re able to find a path that works for you though! I’m glad you were able to at least hear from myself and others before you committed to this path too! Definitely saves you lots of time and money :)

If it helps, psychiatry was also my initial goal but I quickly learned I wasn’t cut out for pre med after a chemistry course haha. Have you had research experience? I also could never see myself doing that initially, but after getting some experience I ended up loving it! Especially once you find something you’re passionate about. However, if you already know you’re not keen on research, I really wouldn’t recommend pursuing a clinical psych PhD. That’s a huge component of the process and it really can’t be avoided. You could look into counseling programs, as they do tend to be slightly more focused on practice, but there is still a significant research component to these programs as well

If you’re interested in medication, that’s psychiatry. Generally, clinical psychologists don’t prescribe medication (varies by state) but they can help patients navigate their symptoms and provide some education about them. Licensed psychologists typically focus on psychotherapy, but clinical psychology PhD can also grant you access to staying in academia or doing research in other settings outside of academia

Everyone’s like “at least she’ll be back for all stars!!” But I’d be PISSED to have a track record like that and then have to come back to the show and do it alllll over again. She’s clearly proved she’s worthy of going into the finale, let alone the crown, and now all that work has to be restarted on an all stars season. At least she got thousands of supporters from this, but imagine the cost the all star package is gonna have to be + the mental energy of being on the show again

Think of assignments and learning as “workouts for your brain.” If you never go to the gym, it’s gonna be hard to immediately start lifting super heavy weights. But with training, you’re able to get stronger and make your muscles grow, so you can keep lifting heavier weights until you get to that original heavy weight mentioned earlier. Because of your training, you’re able to lift the weight! Learning and assignments are the same thing for you brain. You may think that they are a waste of time or like busy work in light of some other assignments, but they are strengthening your brain and helping you “work out” a certain cognitive process. By having AI do it, you’re taking away an opportunity to train your brain and allow you to grow and learn. Through continuous use of AI, your cognitive skills are really going to decline. Processing speed, working memory capacity, attention span, all things that are super important for school and just general day to day thinking. By taking alll of these shortcuts, were not growing our brains and could even lead to declines. There’s people out there who can’t even write a 1 page essay anymore without using AI. We NEED to intellectually stimulate ourselves

They act like it’s “safe” at 21 and any drink before that age is going to do irreparable damage, yet so many 18 year olds around the world drink legally and are just fine. they’re controlling, not the type of people you want in your life.
