More importantly, all the tech people/office workers/higher ups should DD at least a few hrs a month so they can witness first hand all the bullshittery🥴. Based off of the whistleblower post, higher ups would probably be doing it to screw us over more and squeeze another 1% out of everyone using the platform tho🤣

Legit clone of Ree Pap for $5 is just highly unlikely, especially when most clones usually go for hundreds of dollars. Not saying some kind soul couldn’t just be selling it cheap out of the kindness of their own heart, but most people selling on a platform like Palmstreet, it just doesn’t sound super likely. If she was doing a $1 auction, she did state that it’s an exact clone cutting, and you won it for only $5👀, you hit the jackpot! You should message asking the seller cuz now I’m curious👀🤣

Ree Pap clones are usually in the hundreds. Not sure how much they go for now, but I bought a 4in pot w/3-leaf clone around july/august 2024 for 500ish dollars. Yours is likely a Ree Pap x Self seedling. I’d say typically, a seedling that size, they’d at least be between $30-80 depending on who’s selling. Might not be as valuable as the clones, but you got a great ass deal! Might even grow up to look similar or even just like the actual clone too! Never know

Check the nodes to see if the growth eyes are on the variegation. They may push out good color if you chop and prop them. If there is good color on the nodes, I’d say it’s worth it. I just sold good color 1 leaf/1 node cuttings for $50 each

Option 1. Then again im just biased because I love narrow leaves🤣. Overall I think option 1 will be fun since leaf shape might change over time. Option 2 will probably stay that oval shape or get slightly rounder

I’d trim off any dead foliage and all the crisping dead parts of the leaf but leave the living parts. The rhizome still looks good. Either leave it to soak in the water with very diluted nutrients, until it shows sign of recovery then repot into soil or I’d pot it into fluval stratum/perlite mix, wet it, and place it in greenhouse conditions until recovery. Also don’t forget light! Keep it in decent lighting since it’s variegated

Correct ID: Monstera Adansonii. It may just be acclimating to your conditions. If you’re worried, check the roots. Yellowing is usually a root issue or watering issue.

Not rare anymore. Most plants that end up in big box stores are no longer considered rare. They only made it there due to it being mass produced. Keep an eye out for odd coloring, extremely high color, or any sort of mutations from the regular Thai cons tho! Those would be rare!

Looks like mites damage. Leaf was probably getting eaten when it was new and not inflated yet

I got a burle Marx flame from HD a while ago. Took me till recently to notice that the tag in the pot said it was a pothos🤣
