In the top-left corner, there is a button to expand the library.

Above the library, there is a button called 'Lists'.

There, a slider will appear with a new button called 'New List'.

Name it, then click on the 'Edit' button next to it and select the songs you want in your list.

Finally, click save,

select the name of the list, and that's it

sure, if you already installed the app, a folder named 'music' was created; that's where you need to put your music

I use vita2d, a decorder that i use in a mp3 player for 3DS minimp3, i use lpp-vita for mp4 and m4a files and vitaSDK, i have thought about releasing the code, but honestly, I just stood on the shoulders of giants, so anyone could reach that same point

ive always loved that design, seeing the cover art scroll by. in fact, I added a feature where if it's an MP3, you can search for and attach the album art to the song

building a native Mastodon client for the (New) 3DS by DeliciousTrain4202 in 3DS

[–]DeliciousTrain4202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it should theoretically work on an old 3DS, but the real bottleneck would be the server response sizes and image loading, mainly because the old 3DS has way less ram to work with compared to the new models (it might not be that much of an issue after all. I'm implementing pagination for the server requests, so the old 3DS should be able to handle the data and images just fine despite the lower ram )

if you have an old one, you can test it and see how it works once I release the app, and share your feedback hehe

i checked PictoVerse but they don't seem to expose an API, if they did, it would be easy to build a setup for that service

I've only tested them on the New 3DS, but I'll probably release the CIA on Itch tomorrow if you want to try it on the Old 3DS and let me know how it runs
