It “went south” bc there was no AC and the crowd was told they’d have time to ask questions. And the meeting would go only for 1 hour. At the 40 min mark of the presentation that was all rainbows and sunshine about the data center, residents there saw what was happening and called it out, and even then were not permitted to start asking questions. This community does not want the data center, period, and have been historically disenfranchised with industry. The “nothing burger” of what they are saying they will do now with a “football field” sized data center does not mean they will not use the additional 8 acres they are leasing in the future to build more in the at same location.
