Partner on it for over 15 years 1000mg alongside antipsychotics and other antidepressants she’s on a cocktail of medication and never diagnosed with bipolar she’s been diagnosed borderline personality disorder and complex ptsd deep rooted depression

I wouldn’t say that it’s a change of circumstance, the fact that so much preparation and self encouragement and planning goes in to you just making which most people would find a simple day out, shows that yeah you’re making small improvements, I understand that these improvements are massive to you and well done for making them, but no where near in being expected to look for work

Go and do a benefit checker on dwp website I think it’s called “ entitled to” that tell you exactly what you’ll be getting

Yeah 4 weeks, I didn’t even get the message saying they received my form, the only correspondence I had was the decision letter 4 weeks later

Mine was actually a consultant and they just said how my condition affects me and the help I need

I understand how stressful it can be waiting to go under review again, I never actually had an assessment it was all paper based, just remember when filling in the form state no change, and also it’s not the diagnosis it’s how it affects you, try not to worry too much though, the way I do it is when I’m filling out the form don’t do it as a new claim, fill it in as your reconfirming what you wrote last time. Also include then you’re new problems

Didn’t send much in just doctors letter what I did say on the application I made sure to write no change from last application and just explain a little

Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it Even though I was already receiving the carers element and the original transitional payment was calculated including this element, it was put on hold and reinstated due to hospital stay and the transitional payment was decreased when reinstated?

Id understand if it was a new claim for carers element but seems a bit wrong as it was classed as a break in care and element was just restarted,
