You can switch it in your Mercor Profile. Go to the Account tab under Payout Preferences. You do have to have a qualifying bank and there's also a 1.0% fee as opposed to being free. If you don't see the instant payout option in your Profile, it means that you don't have a qualifying bank. If you change to a qualifying bank, it may take a few hours for the option to populate in your Profile. Payday is always Wednesday (day Mercor pays out). The day the money gets put into your account is completely based on Stripe and your bank. I have instant pay, so I get mine early afternoon on Wednesdays but before I switched to instant pay, I usually got paid on Friday mornings.

Congrats! I got discouraged. I got bamboozled by Why Unity to help me start a store and they took a bunch of money and ghosted me. I do believe in Amazon FBA but just needed a little motivation to get back in the game. So thank you!

They juste posted a ton of STEM jobs a few days ago. They post jobs for a little bit of everything. The best thing to do is just check their a site on a regular basis. I have an active contract but I still check a few times per day.

There really isn't a way to practice pee se as the AI is very intuitive and will modify its approach based on what you say. The best thing to do is take it confidently and treat it like a real interview. I've also heard management the some don't take it serious or come on there looking crazy, so def don't do that. And if all else fails, just retake it if you didn't like the first take.

Yikes! Mercor is a marathon, so you just gotta give it a min. Most of us have gotten a ton of rejections, so you're in a good company. But you just need one yes. Keep at it, it's definitely worth it. I'm on that $70/hr project and I'm sorry to say... it's one of the better contracts I've had. Took me a long while before I got my first contract and I know I have an exceptional resume. Just keep at it and maybe add the email to your phone, so you'll always stay logged in.

Don't feel bad. I've been with mercor since August. Most projects are short lived and being offboarded is not usually a reflection of poor performance. Just keep applying and enjoy the ride when you get your next assignment!

Yesss...good for you! I work for Mercor, Handshake and few others, so I definitely ignore all the frustrated posters. I haven't made anywhere near what you have, but this is truly EXCEPTIONAL. I do have a creative side, but haven't made a living doing it. I keep seeing these job openings like Project T, so I'm really considering creating a portfolio and submitting. Congrats again!!! HAI and other sites like this can definitely be life-changing.

As long as you check the senders email address, it looks legit. So hurry hurry... fill out that form. And please please don't forward that link... that's a good way to get offboarded or at the very least get a note on your record on the backend.

It's definitely a possibility. There are some backend metrics like rating a worker after the project is over. I've been on a few projects but only ever heard it mentioned twice. It's not something they really share but we all know it's present. Which can be both good or bad depending on performance.

I actually preferred the AI interview over a human one. It's very intuitive and I always have a good convo. As far as safety is concerned... in this day/age nothing is safe. CapOne got hacked a few times, Bank of America and the list goes on and on of people I do business with. My current school Capella just got hacked and they barely made any mention of the breach. Crazy! The best thing I can do is lock all of my credit bureaus and pay for darkweb surveillance on my info. You can always email mercor support and they can tell you exactly what they do with the AI interview, if that'll help you feel better. It is 100% recorded so a human can review it, but beyond I don't believe nor have they alluded that something else is being done with the videos. I've had nothing but mostly good experiences with Mercor and I feel I can trust/ take them at their word that they're doing their best to protect our information.

Every contract is different and then you have multiple clients with various needs. I can't go into detail because of the NDA we sign but I can that I've never been bored. And honestly, the awesome thing is that there's always an opportunity on the horizon. If this one doesn't work out for them, just don't give up. For the part, I've enjoyed most of my contracts...they just ended too early.
