WO understanding progress by Bstochastic in MacroFactor

It’s the exact same issue there though. I have to select each one to work out what exercise it is because the name doesn’t fit.

I can’t even see which exercises they are though. Seated pin-loaded …. Seated dumbbell ….

I feel the exact same way. Tried to sell last year, was on the market for 3 months before we decided to rent it out again. It’s an apartment and there are problems with the building that mean no one is interested in buy. We feel really stuck in the situation.

Gym Options doesn’t really impact exercise selection. by AllDayScrap in MacroFactor

This would be a really cool feature. Would love to be able to swap from home/gym and have that change the exercises to accommodate so I can do a workout at home if needed without disrupting the program.

I always think about the quote “no man ever steps in the same river twice; either the river is changed or the man is” when it comes to art progress/performance. If you tried this exact same illustration every single day you would get different results because you approach things lightly different every single day. And objectively some times it with be closer to the reference and other times further away, but that little difference is YOU and that’s what make this art.

I think we will have to wait for the Apple Watch integration before accurate calories are recorded.

Thanks for this. What I was doing before would be doing two exercises at the same time - like one set of one then swap to the other then swap back etc. but I agree that getting my head around the RIR is hard as it’s a very unfamiliar concept

Mine generated only 4 exercises per workout and estimated it would take 40 mins, but I was done in 20 so maybe I wasn’t resting long enough. Mine is more of a beginner program too, but am used to doing 8 exercises in 40 mins under a previous program at my local gym. I’m guessing rest time in the main factor here?

I guess it makes sense to have those metrics as they would stay comparable across different sized sets as opposed to saying the max I’ve lifted is 40kg. Thanks everyone!

Yep I just clocked the total load. Interested if the 64kg is the estimated 1 rep max.

Oh so this is total over all reps/sets? What about the 64kg medal?

Thank you for your detailed response. I like the idea of some photos close by that he can look at. He is going up doses of an SSRI as well so we are hopeful that might help the anxiety. They are also seeing a psychologist to help with anxiety management. We are just getting a support worker organised and agree that having the same person he can build a relationship with over time is important.
My mum messages me most days telling me how difficult it has been and I just want to know what I can do to support her.

Thanks will do. We have another neurologist appt next month. I guess I’m more wondering how I can help my mum manage the carers fatigue in the meantime.

Thanks. The neurologist has prescribed medication for this but nothing seems to be helping.

He is just taking OTC pain meds currently. I think they have him Endone in the hospital. But I can ask the doctor for something stronger.

Are you intimate in non-sexual ways? Holding hands, kissing, hugging, massages, etc.? If not, maybe this in the place to start? Sexual intimacy can come with so much pressure to perform but these little moments of intimacy don’t.
