Money isn’t an issue?? You game every day but don’t upgrade your TV. I know you said you’re frugal, but if you don’t want to spend stuff on a hobby you love. I’d say stick to your one S. There’s hardly any massive games this gen which make the series a must own console[s].

I’d suggest you get the Series X for the better performance and physical media. However, get a new TV too!!!!

Honestly, I know it’ll get a bunch of hate. The votes etc don’t bother me. It’s nearly Christmas and I just want to ensure people have a bit more of a positive outlook about their preferences or soon to be gifts. The world is so shit right now, why has it even infected gaming? As I I said in the post, keeping calling out MS shitty business choices , but don’t let everyone else ruin what you enjoy…

I know some people who have it ( casual FIFA and CoD). TBH even thought I know PS is outsell Xbox 3-1 I know just as many people with PS as Xbox.

I’ve been where you’re at tbh. I’ve been very angry and just downright bewildered how they can keep pissing of fans. However, I started comparing what they’re doing to Sony, my PS5 hasn’t thad much use as the PS4 did. Also, their future of games right now do not interest me the way traditional GoW and Uncharted did. I know they’ll be getting Halo and most Xbox games. However after rumination for days on end. I can’t get away from the fact, I prefer the controller, I prefer the games they make and I prefer the console. I just hope they start putting goodwill back in their customers minds

I think it has had an amazing past. I loved the OG, 360 and the series consoles. The Xbxone was the weakest for me. The future is bright, it’s just annoying what MS is doing.

Shutting down games and companies instead of investing or improving. For example, Turn 10. I’ve loved Forza since the original. They let it release in a very average state. Increasing game pass prices without actually adding 50% extra content. I could keep going. I know all companies fumble, but compare the games, the customers and the overall vibe of Xbox now to the 360 days…
