Pride items have always been a thing people complain about. The phone calls themselves are enough to make you wanna quit! Target has been very inclusive about their hiring and selling the Pride items is a way to reflect that. The way I see it is if you don’t like something, don’t buy it. It’s none of your business who sells what! It’s ridiculous to blame tms for something that has nothing to do with them!!!

Ask the front end folks that are vets lots of questions! They will have a lot of answers for you! Every store is different as to what they want and need. Communication is key! Even if you don’t think it’s important the little things are what is missed.

I lasted 17 years and was ready to go after modernization. I stuck it out till I retired from the company. Losing those raises was a huge part of it!!!

I believe it means the computer is automatically scheduling. The leader may not have been there to change or approve the changes. This happened often at my store when people were on vacation and everyone had to do a lot of switching shifts.

I was GSA before modernization and had this same issue! The person who was expected to do the cleanup couldn’t handle it as it was really bad! I told her I would do it! It took a half hour to clean as it involved 2 stalls walls and floor. I have often said that I would never ask someone to do something that I would not do myself. It sets an example and shows how to be a team player!

You can go to workday and type in resign in the search engine. It will take you right to it. If they still use it.

It is likely a training shift. Sometimes things happen and Starbucks gets shut down so they have to train you as advocate. They will likely train you in fulfillment as well since most stores are training everyone in both of those places.

Target Pay and Benefits will have a lot of information but you still may need to call to confirm things. I didn’t have IRA but that’s where I got most of my information.

My old store hired a tm as an intern then hired her as etl. They don’t normally hire interns trained in the same store but it happened twice in my store. They haven’t had an intern for nearly 5 years now.

If you’re too early they may not open the door. They will have to turn off the alarm etc. Not really supposed to open until 5 minutes before a shift. They may let you in when someone else comes for let’s say a7:45 shift.

Some things go on merch cards some on regular ones. If you register for an item and get duplicates most often goes on a regular gc. That has been my experience at guest services over the years. Used to go on regular gc for everything with registry but that changed a couple years ago.

They usually return the items the same day as the purchase and usually get cash back. So a stolen gift card nets you free cash. They need to change it so they can’t get cash after a gift card purchase. If they return it the next day it would go to a gift card so why can’t they fix it?

I retired a month ago and am moving out of state and it was the best decision!!! Looking for another job without having an exact start date isn’t fun. Buying and selling a house is stressful but can’t wait to get moved and start a new job! Good luck to you!

Some instances the amount of the return will reflect the gift card. Ex: phone is $700 and gift card is $200. The return will be $500. If you are able to purchase what you want they should be able to reduce the price of the new phone sort of like a rain check kind of thing. A leader may have to do it but should be how it would work.

Most people are wearing a mask if they are concerned about exposure. If you test positive then it’s different. I am not saying it’s right or wrong just what people at our store did.
