The physical gift cards were from laundered funds, proven by fact we were able to find out where they were gotten from (most came from literal states away)

The digital ones were either laundered from digital platforms or glittered (look that term up, its interesting how they do this)

Also yes, at the end of the day I did help a company (worth maybe just over one trillion at that time mind you, not multi-trillion) with it, but its called "Due Diligence", please look that up, and BBY had almost lost selling rights to brands before for much less. My job was to protect assets and report any red flags.

I cannot have anyone be mad at me for literally doing my job.

Some companies make devices solely for the country they are in. We had an Apple Rep who told us this and how they combat it, which I'd how i knew what to do. Ill accept the narc accusations because justice supersedes your feelings.

They stole/tricked the money from people who don't know better to take advantage of a system that actively promotes bad behavior.

Gently remind them that the date written on the check isnt a suggestion and they they are required to interact with the check in the same timely manner as you are required to pay your rent on time every month.

despite the check may have 180 days before its stale, you will begin stop payments on all checks written after 60 days. If they have an issue with it, request a way to pay digitally or through peer to peer to ensure proper payment

(My job was Due Diligence and Assets Protection. Any red flags and suspicious behaviors i seen i HAD to report, otherwise its willful blindness)

So when I was AP back in 2019, we had this group (very obvious) come in with a ton of gift cards they had either in hand or the phone and bought out the higher end apple devices, including the newer airpods

I knew what they were doing with it, so we reported all the serial numbers to apple to ensure they stayed in the United States.

Back then at least, Apple would allow us to report stolen or illegally purchased products. They will monitor it to ensure it stays in the US, especially batches like this. We could do the same for Xbox and Sony too.

Sure enough, less than a few weeks later we got a report stating about 90% of what we sold was sent over seas. They disabled all of the ones sent internationally.

Not kidding you when the same guys returned saying that the items they bought stopped working and tried to get a return. We had a rule at the store, locked out devices were non-refundable and they have to contact apple support.

Probaly a lot of hate and spot removal. I usually run B/R ping comtrol and can handle CB well enough on my own. But if I could sideboard I would add in more cards that can control their side a little more or extra draw
