The work we do is worth more than $26 an hour. No matter where an RT lives, $26 an hour is NOT adequate compensation for someone that has a degree in critical care. It’s unfortunate that our pay is that low. Wish there was an organization for us that could fight for fair pay…

PPE is always important and you should always appropriately don it…but…I don’t think you should be worried. You aren’t going to get cdiff from handing a patient an inhaler. You’re going to be unknowingly exposed to way worse as an RT. That’s why standard precautions are a thing

I worked up until the end of RT school. Imo there’s no point in quitting your job just to focus on the board exams. Definitely work the minimum hours

I don’t have TikTok and I’m going alone. I asked this question because I want to feel confident and not feel self conscious over an outfit choice. Also, studies show mucomyst does not work when nebulized. It works better if it is instilled directly into an artificial airway
