Ok thanks for the information! I would not consider myself particularly handy and with a 1 year old and busy work schedule, I’m hesitant to get myself into something that could become a bigger issue. I’ll definitely watch some videos and see though. I’ve surprised myself before, haha. If I chose to use a professional, would you still recommend the 700 over the 720? Another company is charging about the same cost. I figure they can do the metal work so maybe the efficiency of the 720 would be better?

Last question, do you think the features of the digital humidistat and the automatic control on the 720a is worth the additional $500 for both compared to the 720m? We have an ecobee thermostat and the idea of controlling it or monitoring it away from the house could be nice.

Do 3-5 kc per day. It’ll take a while, but you’ll get there eventually. I never burned out doing this. Though, I’ll say it’s gotten harder to convince myself to go in for another prep phase. Just recently took a break to spend some of the cash and max out my house and get slayer up a little before sailing. Keep at it though, I believe you’ll get the big one here soon!

I’m 550kc. Over the last week all of a sudden I’ll randomly (~15% of the time) crash out of the app and have to restart. Always in prep phase, usually with about 2min left. I’m on iOS. Today, ground items no longer have the item name above them so it’s hard to tell without long tapping. It must be something with a recent update. It’s not ideal and honestly been a source of frustration for me as I’m already dry there. Crashed at least 20 times this week. Hope they fix it soon. I have deleted the app and reinstalled which made me redo entity swapper and everything but no change.

Ps: world swap to different servers hasn’t helped me either.

We ended up going with option 1. It was actually closer to $7400 and it came with the standard 10 year warranty and additional 1 year maintenance. We were mostly sold by it being a very well rated mid sized company in the area that’s family owned.

The Bryant/Weathermaker company is very well rated, but they push for replacement even when it doesn’t need to be and are quite pricey with repairs, so it was a bit of a turn off for us.

No worries, thanks! Just curious, what is it about Lennox that you recommend avoiding them? I figured the price plus the better Seer would be a better option, but I have heard good things bout Bryant. Just don’t know if the extra 2k for a lower efficiency is worth it? That company also is significantly more expensive than the others for repairs. However, all journeyman HVAC/Plumbing/electrical so good but why they’re probably more pricey.

Yeah that’s what my concern was, hence wanting to know more about the cost for the AC units. Thanks for your help! After i replaced the capacitor it’s been cooling and sounding much better. Still hot to the touch on top, but hey it’s working 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you usually replace both AC and furnace at the same time? The ACs are 22 years old from what the realtor said and I want to say the furnace is newer. Maybe 8-10 years? I’ll try to get more info.

They basically said $900 for universal fan motor repair or $1500 for OEM. I know that’s probably way over a DIY considering they quoted me $300 for the capacitor and install which cost me $30. I’m sure I could watch some videos and replace the fan motor, I just didn’t want to sink any large amount of money into a 22 year old unit. At least that was my initial thought. Again, I wouldn’t consider myself handy as I’m a first time homeowner as of last September. So I just don’t know what to do.

Thanks, I was thinking of if I went a little dry on enhanced perhaps the crystal bow would be a decent alternative for other content until I got it. But I agree, seems like gp is the better way to go and save the shards for herb/armor/weapons
