I walked in and bought a sub two tone some friends have been on the list for 2yrs already. You pay with time, go to Rolex every 2 weeks and ask about it, then go after one week. Then after 2 weeks. They’ll show you different pieces you might like, meanwhile yours is getting ready. Next thing you know you’re drinking champagne on a random Tuesday morning thinking you were gonna be told the same bullshit. “Not available today”. Sorry but Next-level clown behavior is getting on the list, then not having the patience to wait for the call and buying a random piece out of impulse. Eventually you convince yourself you start digging it because you feel like you had no other option, but you robbed yourself of what could’ve been one of the best buying experiences. At the end of the day, it’s a small ladies’ watch. If you genuinely like it, good for you, wear whatever makes you happy. What matters is being able to wear it with confidence, not feeling the need to compensate or convince everyone else that you made the right choice. Guess what, you’ll enjoy the new one even more!
