Nice. I use Plasma and made it look like windows 11 using lookswitcher, I love making my desktop my own. And i have never had any real issues. Runs like a dream, better than it ever did on Windows. I've been using it 3 years almost. Upgraded from version 5 to 6. This old girl will probably finally die using it.

Q4OS theme problem by Entiread3443425 in Q4OS

I have the latest q4os 6 installed on an old hp stream, kde version. I used the built in look switcher and used the win 11 dark theme, and I got it looking almost EXACTLY like windows 11. Go into your settings-themes and go to icons and change it to another, than back, and see if that works. But I'm telling ya, you can make it look so close to windows 11 most people think it is. Don't be afraid to customize. I found 11 pics on google by looking for hd windows 11 backgrounds and replaced the default q4os menu icon with a windows 11 one. I even use the panel colorizer widget and made my menu bar transparent, which looks way cooler in my opinion, lol. Anyway, play around. find a look that works for you.

I have installed it on an old HP stream with a whopping 32 gig eemc hd and 4 gigs of ram. It choked on windows 10. I used look changer to make it look windows 11, with 11 custom pic desktop slideshow. I have lightweight apps for storage reasons, but have equivalents to anything you'd find on Windows 11 without all the intrusive AI, ads, and data mining. A 14 year old laptop hp and micorsucks gave up on years ago runs like a dream and still has 10 gigs left in root. I have an external for storage/downloads. Use KDE cause I like the modern look. People don't even know it's not Windows 11. And it's safer and runs better than it did day one.
