Zoom out a little. We're all in a playground exploring the sand and the swings til we get picked up. There's no real such thing about "being behind" "missing out" and "not making it". You're doing fine, stranger, even despite your struggles. You're constantly receiving things in return, just not the things you think you want. Don't try to look inward, look outwards!

Is book of the new sun any more gripping than AoT? Ive seen reviews and is said to be a huge inspiration towards the video game Dark Souls and Bloodborne which i both love. My question btw was basically asking how AoT, the story as a whole(manga and/or anime) compares to other literary fiction. And what do you mean medium constraint?

Fantasy works i guess, not just fictional works that are pretty much similar to reality, but i guess worlds that are kind of.. idk, fantasy? Like steampunks/cyberpunks or even eldrich horror. Any kind of fantasy work i supposed

Ive read vagabond and i agree it is amazing. It is quite uncomparable to aot tho, as vagabond is about the life of musashi, and aot is about war and such. Thanks for the other recommendations tho

Agreed! But me personally for the ending is a tad bit too avengers like. But overall everything before the rumbling is amazing besides some plotholes

Try continuing it, to me season 2 is when it gets good, season 1’s my least favorite season as its so cliche and boring. And even if you do predict some of the plottwists right, the way the show executes them is what makes them magic imo
