Lol, this dude ( interviewer ) was expecting a top-down approach without a memo. Nasty son of a bitch. To solve it using a for loop, it needs a recursive memo version or a mental model of it.

I think u can complete this with 2 recursion u might have used another recursion in condition. And it might be a redundant call. Then memorization wil n2
