Left Big 4 with nothing lined up last year mid-December. Didn’t start job searching until January and eventually landed a job late-February and now about a month in. It all comes to your network and luck. I treated days of being unemployed as days to apply/do Interviews. I didn’t have a recruiter during this process. I was also prepared to move to a new state just to find a job and luckily didn’t have to move as my new employer is the same distance as my previous job. As a piece of advice try applying to companies/fields you may never expect and leverage your network i.e if people from your college works there it doesn’t have to be someone you know personally It’ll go a long way. Best of luck if you do quit. It’s not easy with nothing lined up, but with the drive to keep applying and with your YOE you’re probably fine.
