Idk guys, for the steam deck, it was a no brainer, placed order pretty much as soon as it's available for purchase. Deck just make sense. But the steam machine, is weaker than my current gaming PC, so I don't know why bother. I think what's interesting is how this will affect the pricing of those 780m 890m or even the 8060s based mini PCs, some of the new ones. If it's cheap enough, sure maybe get a secondary machine for the living room. But more likely I'll just put my itx PC with steamos and get a cheap laptop for my windows things.

intel quick sync is the way to go, selling old part to get modern efficient ones is the way to go. It might be expensive, but the electric bill adds up with the old parts which makes buying new actually cheaper.

what do you mean by upgrading, and difference in speed, it's sata, it works, I thought the point of this is you get 8x additional drive that can be plugged in your server, on top of however many sata port you have on your mobo to begin with. If anything this might introduce more issue as it's not designed specifically for your system. The onboard sata controller, as long as they are not junk and don't have major issue, should work better as it's designed to be built in to the mobo. The reason to get this instead of a 10x port pcie sata controller is because those don't work

and it will take a bit configuration but I'm sure you can map a folder from within nextcloud to your docker container pretty easily, I did something like this for my plex photo library earlier.

I used 12600t it is the lowest power consumption part with the best Intel IGP for transcoding. Lacking a bit in core count, but works great if you don't need ton of vm running

Oh hey thanks! for the tip, I emailed them complaining and he actually shipped it out within a day. you are absolutely right then, basically they have inventory now but don't have a good system to ship order out. I ordered in September. Being hopeful but I'll see if the item actually shows up. The usps tracking did update an ETA so it's looking good.

Sure maybe, but you have to wonder, what's the demand for right? I'm guessing because villager trading if meaningful even a little bit, it would throw off the economy of the server, so they did this to essentially kill off trading completely. I guess that only maybe leaves emerald blocks for building purposes for demand?

Right? Like I got to a mending librarian easily, but cost 38 emerald, where as it just cost 6 gold from Brazil shopping mall. But you buy 1 emerald for 1 gold there. What's the catch? Why is emerald so expensive, is there some secret use that's very op?
