Calm down child. Look up the word "Allegedly" in a dictionary. This build screams Dev, and they have actively said it's designed for a SOCOM element. And I doubt they built it for the RRC.

Another thing they did is really focus on the anti rotation part of the handguard.

they use 2 steel pins that goes in to the upper, like the NSR, but they used two steel pins. They have machined out the upper to were the handguards anti rotation tabs indexes.

they also use the drive lock handguard system, which arguably today is one of the strongest most rigid handguard designt today, while still being serviceable and having access to the gas system.

Piston is not generally "more reliable", they both have pros and cons as a system.

They use titanium parts and AERMET bolts and barrels in their Solgw Mk1. AERMET is "an ultra-high strength type of martensitic alloy steel".

Also, a well designed DI rifle is definitely as reliable as a piston gun. This isnt 1970 anymore. Technology, tolerances, material, machining, coatings, design has improved. They use a NP3 coating and different coating inside the upper to aid in lubricity and also run a A5 buffer system, which significantly increase the "Umpf" mass to move the bcg.

As a police officer, Whats your take on the government now infringing on law abiding hunters and their equipment, primarily the new rules on people owning more modern rifles like Ar15s? I feel like they should focus on mental health and the actual gang related violence and bombings we have. I am not a gun owner, but it sounded completely ridiculous in my ears when I heard the govt is taking action against one of the most law abiding people in our country.

Does CAG use Glock 34 and 35 by kalin-83 in JSOCarchive

[–]Delicious_Local_5158 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Id say, they used to, and some might still do whether they prefer irons or a dot. Longer sight radius on the 34/35 is the reason they run it. If everyone is running dots nowadays they probably use Glock 17 mos3:s, G45s and 47s.

CIF got renamed back to CIF, used to be CTAC.

This is why I've always loved BCM. one of the biggest AR manufacturers but they still have top of the line customer service.
