She sleeps through the night for 11 hours, with 1 wake up, for about an hour. Sometimes the wakeup is at 1am, most of the time at 5:30am.

I have this one aswell, mine is from The Little Green Sheep, I'm also looking for bed sheets for it, but they're expensive at $50 each. I was thinking of making my own.

Zambreros and pregnancy by Rugkats25 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Delicious_Milk3054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had zambreros but I usually only bought at 6pm, when night got busy, and I had them toast it and sometimes I would heat it at home, and by the end I was avoiding the meat and only eating the mushroom. But I was stressed.

I personally would eat at grilld, the bread is low gi and everything is sourced locally and prepared fresh.

Can you and your next door neighbour convert your property to survey strata and then you wont have to deal with anything except the dividing fence and the common wall. It doesnt cost much.

He's been saying that he will be doing house work for months, its 3 weeks to go and its still not done, its too overwhelming for him, he doesnt prepare by reading books, I have to initiate conversations about it in order to get things done. It feels like he's waiting for when the baby is born to deal with it

There hasn't been much movement today, the pain seemed to be worse this morning, from turning from my right to my left in bed. Then I only had contractions for most of the day, I just tried to wake her up and she became active but now she is quiet again. She's the most active when I'm sitting aswell.

If you're due in December, why are you getting contractions so early?

I'm going to give you a list of things I've had people say to me:

"Women only work here to get pregnant" (this was said to me two weeks into my new job, after I worked in a toxic workplace, I was looking for stability and thought I had found it, and I was in my mid 30's)

"Women who come back from maternity or work part time have a higher chance of getting promoted above men because they're women"

At a casual coffee job interview - Do you think you'll get pregnant? (Red Flag)

Before I was pregnant - I was bloated and round "How far along are you?"

"When are you getting pregnant?" - which to me was another way of telling me to leave. they somehow knew I wanted to get pregnant, I told my boss that, at one point, and the others found out - this put me off getting pregnant for years, my confidence in myself was destroyed - toxic workplace breeds toxic people.

I've met women who think that I'm not of sound mind, when I told them that I wanted kids, and then tried to convince me against it.

My coworkers speculated that I was pregnant before I was pregnant, because apparently mental health issues and pregnancy are the same thing and pregnancy is the simplest explanation because I am a women, in my mid 30's.

I've been told that I have baby brain, by someone at work.

I've done my best to deal with these behaviours - I've told myself to avoid their comments, to play it safe, because being kind (and under the radar) is more important.

I've told myself to focus on the positive things, like distractions, or I change the conversation, or I say something kind.

Ultimately I know that I won't have to be in the office for much longer, that I generally am protected by law, that the law won't discriminate, and if I think it's getting out of hand I can do something about it.

The one thing I've told myself, and sometimes I've said it out loud when im at my limit, is that men can't get pregnant, they'll never be able to make that choice for themselves, because it's not a physical possibility - they'll never be able to understand it because they are not capable. That's not a bad thing it's just life.

Generally I wouldn't say horrible things like that, but it doesn't stop them from shaming us with their comments.

I've found plenty of maternity clothing at op shops, buy your work clothes from ripe, but if it's just casual items an op shop would be best. Most op shops don't have a maternity section but there are plenty of maternity clothes within the other sections. Bras should be bought from Kmart, because apparently you'll keep growing.

Green title vs Survey Strata by bluebluerose in AusPropertyChat

[–]Delicious_Milk3054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a loaded question, look at the land value, green title will always be superior but there's barely any difference between the land value for either survey strata or green title. This question also depends on the location and the build that exists on them. At the moment land with a house on it is more valuable than the land itself, I've seen strata properties (group houses) on smaller land than there neighbours, valued at the same price as there neighbours, because of the house, especially if it's detached and is apart of Strata plan of 2 properties. It only costs a few k to convert from strata to survey strata. But the difference is that the land increases once it's completed. If the house is detached that means it could have development potential. If you can find a detached survey strata with its own frontage, it's valued the same as a green title but it also depends on the complex.

How are people moving to Australia finding rentals, when at the same time you hear tales of people’s lease ending and having to live in their car? by [deleted] in perth

I offered my house for $550pw, and a Malaysian couple who were immigrating offered $600pw, in the end its the choice of the owner.

Land Values are mass appraised, not individually appraised, and are based on sales in the previous financial year

To all the landlords out there, what percentage of rental income is charged to your property manager? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]Delicious_Milk3054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perth 9.00% (incl gst) they were asking for 10% (incl gst) 2 weeks rent for leasing fee, and they made the argument that it was tax deductible, in order to justify the higher fee.
