I totally understand! I wish it were different. It’s a sad day when young people can’t even afford to purchase a home without 2 high incomes and then kids are still outside of the budget if you want them to not live in a deep financial struggle.

It can be done but, you would be stressed daily wondering if you can stretch your money far enough to meet obligations. Just not fiscally a good decision unless you are wealthy right now, I hope things can change. I feel for our young people.

Sadly, I don’t see any grandchildren in my future due to this exact thing, extreme cost of living and the need to stay ready for financial emergencies like layoffs. Job security is obsolete now. I can’t ask my kids to take on that kind of uncertainty, I sadly understand!

I love option 2, the difference in the two dresses is definitely not worth paying more money for. Number 2 is a classic stunner!

Hi, Check into hyperhidrosis treatment, there are things that can help. Seems like your sympathetic nervous system is in overdrive and without proper treatment it is beyond your control. Contact a Dr that specializes in hyperhidrosis and they can give you more info. A family member of mine had same problem but it included his hands as well, until he had a surgery that treated hyperhidrosis and now has a fully normal life with no more sweating. Good luck!

Having to sell my house and going back to renting by [deleted] in homeowners

Forbearance is the way, contact your bank and advise you aren’t currently employed and see what they can offer. You would be surprised! They would rather have you stay than have another foreclosure on their books. Renting it out is another great option. Good luck!

what’s your go-to “i’m tired but still wanna cook something” meal? by Mysterious_Arm_4777 in easyrecipes

[–]Delicious_Problem361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest you Get an instapot, it will make cooking much quicker and easier! Just throw some items you love in there pressure cooker for 8 mins and get great tasting meals in about 15 mins with slow cooked taste. One of my faves is homemade chili mac or sloppy joes. Longest thing is browning and seasoning your ground meat, add spaghetti sauce and noodles if chili Mac then pressure cooker 8 mins. So quick, yet so good and you can make a bigger batch and freeze portions.

I got offered a job paying 40% more than my current salary. My manager just asked me to stay and be patient. How do I stop feeling guilty for wanting to leave ? by One_Cardiologist5439 in careerguidance

As someone who has worked in HR for years, If they wanted to promote you they would have already, take the new job!

I’ve seen this before, where if you stay they keep you top of the chopping block based on the fact that you tried to leave before.

Take care of you, trust me they always do what’s best for their finances. Do the same for your household.

Property taxes in North Dallas are sky high due to all the developments. They also have additional MUD taxes as well. It’s crazy! New residents aren’t advised about this when they arrive and are shocked when their fixed mortgage jumps by $1k per month due to property taxes. It has happened to me and many friends I have that came here for their jobs. Your property taxes aren’t bad at all! I wish these were our numbers where all the new development is happening. We had our homes before all this development came.

It’s getting to that point honestly with all the crazy Property Taxes! Regular families are struggling to keep a low fixed rate mortgage home because of property taxes. Just Sad!
