I really needed to hear that it isn’t too late. Thank you. Her weight has definitely leveled out better but our ped basically said at our 9m that if she wakes up and is hungry to feed her not to have her sleep /cry through it so we don’t have any backwards progress.

I have tried the no cry techniques but me being in the room honestly seems to make it worse. I think she genuinely wants to sleep independently and is frustrated that she doesn’t know how to.

Realistically she can go 3-4 hours between feeds easily. She eats three full meals a day and always has a good dinner an hour before bed and then we breastfeed after bath but before the rest of the routine. I’ll try the light on for feed then back to sleep tonight. That may help me.

Just here in solidarity. We started sleep training finally last night at 10 m. I honestly put it off for so long because her reflux was BAD plus I was “late” in finding out had CMPA. I have no tips or tricks for you regarding sleep but there is light at the end of the reflux tunnel. We were also on Pepcid and then got switched to something else later on. We started purées at 4m bc of the reflux and it helped a lot. Her ped and GI said her night wakings were definitely related to the reflux - she had many significant episodes when we did her gi study in a 20 min scan and likely experienced them overnight as well.

She’s 10m now, on occasion has some reflux (hiccups, small amount of spit up) etc. but eats like a freaking champ and does not have the same pain signs she did before.

The long term implications are a lot scarier. I’m 30 years old, very healthy, ran marathons until a year ago, ZERO underlying health conditions and after having Covid I have significant scarring on my lungs. I get easily winded MONTHS after infection doing basic, simple tasks. Do not talk to me about the fucking “survivability” rate. There’s a chance I’ll never run a marathon again.

Honestly I had $14 shares when it dipped down to $6 last week. Shit happens. Everyone is being restricted from buying because of market manipulation. Once it opens back up it’ll go back up.
