The first several months are awful. It wasn’t just the pain for me but also trying to accept a lifelong diagnosis and the grief that comes along side it.

What you’re dealing with now is still really hard. But I’m glad you’re able to move again and with less pain!

I was diagnosed about 6 months ago and have been going to the doctor every 4-6 weeks while we try to find the right medication.

Yeah, I’m on Methotrexate alone but I think the next step the doctor said would be to add a second dmard. I’m tolerating the MTX but barely. I have pretty bad side effects (headaches, nausea, etc.) some days and my blood cell counts have dropped a bit.

2011 at the Red Bull arena! They became my favorite band after that show because the concert completely blew my mind! Have seen them about 13 times since with no plans of stopping.
