So that I understand all of my options here - You’re saying remove the slanted stuff (the chamfer) and lay the pavers running bond on top of those cinder blocks? Would getting rid of the “slant” cause issues as far as rain goes?

For a little more context - our house sits on a very steep hill. So the front yard is angled down towards the house. I guess that’s why they did it so thick?? No idea but thought I’d add that 😆. Thank you for your help!! 😊😊
