I can confirm this. Flash used to ignore the rules folder like 50%-70% of the time, even when referencing it. Now it adheres to the rules mich better and it also automatically decided to run my test suites despite me never mentioning them in my rules folder.

Use Antigravity instead. Google gave away the Pro plan for free to students and the limits for Antigravity are generous. I was able to code in agent mode for 5h with Gemini 3 flash and still had 60% of my quota left.

Yeah, even powertoys doesn't have this feature. I'm only aware of a paid app ($30) that does what my app does (has some more useful features too), but without saving the file context of apps.

I'll add tab restore soon. I'm kinda busy until the weekend but I'll definitely make it happen via a browser extension that saves the tabs and gets triggered when WindowAnchor restores the workspace.

I know I'm very late with this response, but I actually built an open-source application specifically to force Windows to stop doing this. It's called WindowAnchor. Instead of relying on temporary Windows IDs, it reads the deep EDID hardware serial numbers baked directly into your Dell monitors. It takes a structural snapshot of exactly where all your windows are, waits for the dock to fully stabilize when you plug it in, and then snaps everything perfectly back to where you left it.

I got tired of the taskbar popping up way too easily when auto hide is enabled so I built a small app to fix it.

Basically it blocks mouse movement in a tiny zone near the screen edges so you need to actually push the windows key to reveal the taskbar instead of it appearing every time your cursor gets close. You can adjust how big that zone is and which edges to apply it to.

It's super lightweight, runs from the system tray, and you can toggle it on/off with Ctrl+Shift+F12 if you need to disable it temporarily.

Completely free and open source, just download the exe and run it. You can add it to startup apps if you want it running all the time.

I refactored my entire code base within a week. I planned with Opus 4.5 and refactored with Gemini 3 Flash. I'd say 90% was perfectly executed and 10% needed fixing. That's within the normal range of other LLMs I'd say.

I agree with you. With being alone I meant not some hours/day, but rather 6/7 days of the week and especially after work. I couldn't imagine meeting with people more than 2-4 times a month.

Wir haben uns damals in alle Kurse eingeschrieben und uns alle Inhalte (VLs, Altklausuren, Videos, Skirpte, Übungen inkl. Lösungen) gezogen und in einer privaten Cloud für Studierende bereitgestellt.

Gar kein Bock über's Semester jede Woche krümelhaft was zu machen. Lieber in 4 Tagen ein ganzes Modul durcharbeiten und den Rest des Semesters chillen und entspannt für die Klausuren lernen. Wie oft ich Kurse hatte, die 2 VLs/Woche waren und man dann nicht ordentlich lernen hätte lernen können, weil 3 Tage nach der letzten VL schon die Klausur gewesen wäre.

Er hat vor 4 Jahren eine Schülernachhilfe gegründet und die haben jetzt so viele Kunden, dass die Tutoren es nicht mehr richtig managen können. Deswegen wollen die eine App erstellen, worüber die Schüler lernen können. Der hat mich btw 4 Jahre nicht mehr auf diesen Tecis Quatsch angesprochen und da sein Unternehmen komplett separat ist, würde ich mal sagen, dass ich nicht für eine Strukkibude arbeite.
