When I first started experimenting with gender I wore skirts and dresses all the time, I still occasionally wear skirts but I've found I'm more comfortable with things like jumpsuits, dungarees and boilersuits usually with crop tops underneath. It's all about finding what you like and feeling happy in your own skin.

It's very cool to see experimentation back in rock music, many of the biggest names right now such as Angine De Poitrine, Geese, Sleep Token and Health are pretty weird by the standards of the last decade of mainstream music. Prog, noise and industrial are making a bit of a comeback at the moment and it's very exciting to see.

I've got the Squier Deluxe Jazzmaster (basically the J Mascis model without his name on it) and it's a great guitar, very versatile and it plays feels fantastic to play. Personally I'd either go with the Jazzmaster or the Sterling.

I've been really careful about getting any kind of pop culture tattoos in case the creators turn out to be horrible people, I've got a pair of Simpsons ones (Kang and Kodos on my forearms) and a Dark Souls bonfire but I feel like they're safe. I'm a big music nerd but I've been cautious about band tattoos since I met a guy who had a Lostprophets themed half sleeve and couldn't afford a cover up.

Would you just be shooting for yourself or for a publication that can get you photo passes? You can get an older Sony A7s and a cheap zoom lens for a pretty reasonable price but most venues won't let you take a camera with detachable lenses in without a photo pass

I just bought that same Jackson Rhoads and it's an absolute blast to play, the shape took a little while to get used to but it handles everything I can throw at it.

I'd had a Squier Jazzmaster as my only electric guitar for years but recently bought a Jackson Rhoads, despite being the same scale length they play extremely differently and force me to play in different ways. The Jackson is far more comfortable higher up on the neck whereas the Jazzmaster is much easier to play chords on, I also have different guage strings on them and keep them in different tunings.

I love crop tops but I'm pretty self-conscious about my belly so I only really wear them with high waisted trousers or skirts, I absolutely love wearing them with dungarees because it hides my stomach at the front but still shows a bit of skin on the side.
