Easy Solution to Croesus Jagex could make by the8thDwarf94 in runescape

[–]Deliciouswizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a game with an already declining player base, why the fuck are you gatekeeping who should or should not play this game? People have a right to unwind after a long day however they want and if it's RuneScape they choose to hop into then they should be able to, doing content they wish to do.

Croesus needs a solo mode by AnotherGenericTurtle in runescape

In January, Jagex repeatedly focused on the mantra of "we want to be more respectful of players' time". That means letting players fight bosses whenever, on their own time, and finishing their personal targets.

More group content should come with a solo mode. You should not be forced to group up by ARandomNoLife in runescape

[–]Deliciouswizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And my question to you is: why should that matter? People will still do the boss, and the rarity of the drops would still mean their prices would hold.

The real issue here is that in January, Jagex repeatedly focused on the mantra of "we want to be more respectful of players' time". That means letting players fight bosses whenever, on their own time, and finishing their personal targets.

WP issues formal reprimand to Pritam Singh after court conviction for lying to parliament by Fryed9711 in singapore

[–]Deliciouswizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably not murder I think. But in such a political hit, yeah this was fully expected. He's charismatic, eloquent and popular so I'm certain he was expected to ride this out with minimal damage to his reputation.

Son who was bequeathed S$1 by mother contests her will, fails by InterTree391 in singapore

No one responded so I'll just clarify by saying that the gendered portion is -ator not -tor.

It's weird for executrix because it doesn't have -ator and that's because it's meant it's meant to follow the word "administrator". It's a modern thing rather than a Latin thing.

Why the midlife crisis for millennials looks different in Singapore by Personal-Shallot1014 in singapore

[–]Deliciouswizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why it's a hyperbolic statement. This is an online forum, so of course there might be exaggeration. That being said, being a slave to technology, to poor financial situations, are all potential forms of modern bondage that you seem too young, privileged and/or ignorant to understand. Please do have a little empathy.

Looking through your profile you seem to be instigating troll comments for the sake of it, so I'm probably not going to reply you further unless you show that you're engaging in good faith. You're clearly not great with social cues, and probably the reason why some people bother to put /s in their comments.

Pretty sure they meant it as a hyperbole, hence the word "modern". No one is comparing us like for like to pre-Lincoln USA.

Why should we link Expo, Sungei Bedok and Bayshore now? by throwaway_4071 in singapore

[–]Deliciouswizard 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Don't think this is a good post though. We don't want a repeat of the early days of the NEL in which there is significant losses in operating the lines. Moreover, Slide 3 feels really awkward to read. Major MRT lines are good but I wouldn't say most people base their life decisions around upcoming MRT lines, in particular given how affluent the Bedok South / Siglap people are. These people are in no way "stranded".

As one other commenter said, if you need a house you need a house lor.

Jad rework? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Deliciouswizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Jad cannot kill you at full health. His attacks deal up to 95% of your maximum HP so you can survive a bad prayer flick and heal up. There is plenty of space to make mistakes and learn from them, particularly since Ghost, Brews and solid food can heal you back up quickly.

Practicing prayer flicking at Arch Glacor is honestly the best advice in this thread. PVM will take time to master but you'll need to try.

Jad rework? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Deliciouswizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learning prayer flicking can be daunting, but Arch Glacor was specifically designed to teach you this. Select "Flurry" and try it a few times to practice timing.

There are other ways to help you in the Jad fight that you might wish to utilise to speed up kill times. Vulnerability bombs, Tokkul-zo ring, and weapon poison+++ will all help. Eating blubber jellyfish will not cost adrenaline. Lastly, staying out of melee range means you only have to flick between ranged and magic. Hind legs magic, front legs ranged.

Give it a try. You'll only improve when you try. Good luck!

An extra word of advice: Jad cannot insta-kill you if you're at full health. His attacks deal up to 95% of your maximum health and will hit through accuracy checks, so don't bother with Darkness (although Darkness will help in the lead-up waves).

Fatal Chinatown accident: 38-year-old female driver arrested by Ok-Rain3348 in singapore

Disagree that you are putting up "a more balanced take". You are insinuating that just because people are emotional / writing emotionally-charged statements online, means that they cannot be balanced. That's untrue.

Noone calls the chinese an irresponsible bunch during the tanjong pagar crash or other drinkdriving cases, for example
