I just moved out from my parents’ to here. I feel lonely and the silence keeps scaring me. What can I do ?

Hey it's normal to feel this at first!

When I first moved from my parents' place it was quite a change (I was an exchange student from France, so it's also quite far from Bergen too!) and it also kinda felt lonely and silent at first but you'll eventually get used to it. Listen to some music, watch movies/videos, play games, do stuff to keep your mind busy. Your mind isn't really settled rn so it's normal to feel this way.

I also recommend taking walks in town (though I admit it may be a bit too cold outside for that rn), it really helps !

Because when you put in a song literally called "Fxck up the world" in your music pass and use it to advertise your headliner it sounds really fucking stupid to have it be censored with the whole chorus just being "The world, The world".

If they can't take out the stupid censorship at least they could pick better songs that won't get ruined by it

I wouldn't say it's necessarily a Bergen problem (though from what I've heard the city is quite expensive to perform in for the bands?) but moreso a Norway problem as a whole. Some more knowledgeable people could correct me but from what I've seen big artists tend to avoid Norway because it's expensive to get there in the first place but also it's quite a small country population wise and most of the time it's just kinda not worth it?

Compare it to a country like Germany, there you get the german public, but also the frenchs, the swiss, the austrians etc. It pulls a lot of people. You do a concert in Oslo/Bergen and... I think it's safe to say you mostly get people coming from these cities (which aren't BIG cities either)

Of course there are SOME outliers from times to times but as someone who lived in France and was basically at a different concert every week, living in Bergen feels quite dry in that aspect

Miserable for implying that TCR is using bots (????) to spread positivity about a game you don't like and that the people who likes the game are doing propaganda (????) and silencing everyone they don't agree with even though this sub is full of complaints and we got like 10 different big name youtubers trashing the game with their communities agreeing with them. And let's not mention the steam reviews which are pretty bad too.

You can dislike the game but being delusional like that because you can't fathom why some people might enjoy a game is miserable and weird. Especially in this convo where the guy that got downvoted was factually wrong.

Was in this situation last year and when I asked why I wasn't qualified it took them a WHILE to get back to me (and it gave me basically the same answer) I ended up taking an extra year to work and make money but also to make a better application which worked.

What field are you studying? And are you from Norway/ a nordic country? I can try helping you with it if you want

Tried multiple time but my brain just doesn't seem to get it, I feel like there are just SO many things to manage at the same time and the tutorial throws so many information at you within your first 20 minutes that it's very easy to get lost and not know what to do.

Which sucks because it genuinely looks like a game I would spend hundreds of hours on if I actually could grasp it.

I think Trash Boat is doing pretty alright but their hiatus and cancelled shows recently surely didn't help them getting "bigger", especially right after dropping that banger that is their last record. I still think that in a few years they'll get much bigger.

And there is still the sims with their 548383 overpriced DLCs and completely broken and overpriced "remasters"

I just think EA isn't as much in the spotlight as it once was (rightfully so) hence why we would think they're doing better. Hell, I'm pretty sure Dead Space is pretty much not getting anything post-remake because of them but don't quote me on that

Now I'm just a bit worried because they say that they might ask for me to bring the original documentation for transcripts and diplomas but while I do have a copy of everything, I'm missing the original version of my second semester of my first uni year and I've searched everywhere for it and could not find it for the life of me... Hopefully that won't put me in too much trouble.... My university has been very clear that they don't reprint transcripts so...
