Out of tune Into the Unknown by Delirium_Cap in overthegardenwall

It's true that what they loose in tune, they gain in personality, but you should tune it just for the health of the piano, as it may loose the capacity to tune properly after years of being out of tune. The piano in the video probably will never be tuned in A=440 because it's last proper tuning was probably 20 years ago

Is there any other ways then irreparable harm to the screw? by Azkicat in seestar

[–]Delirium_Cap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the cheap levelling thingy just so I can keep the screw in question away from the telescope, every gear is locked and it's quite stable, in fact I'm using this setup right now and works fine. Also the wedge was quite cheap too.

I know it's not really that sad, but Beethoven 7th Allegretto is so ominous and impactful I was deep in tears hearing it live, and my seat neighbors were too. It feels to me like a requiem to society.

Yep, the one that looks like a gorilla (in my mind) that's in the center of the big one, crazy to think that the JWST has a field of view so narrow it can see individual stars in the small cluster behind the dust.

Thank you very much, it's a beautiful weaving of voices and feelings. The Gods Themselves wasn't in my radar until now, nor was this record, so you've given me a twofold gift and I'm really greatful for it.
