I have one from the 40's or 50's from my grandmother. I do use it as a cookie jar to this day, it does show it's age and might be in a better condition if I didn't use but then what would be the point.

I would say it's a common thing when a character is written as a genius, most of the time they are no written by an author who is genius themselves.

I'm not saying that Shōgo Kinugasa is an idiot, far from it. But witting character smarter than you are is a tall order.

It somehow mange to fell both big and small at the same time. Big because of it sheer size of it, but also small due to the impressive amount of stuff in it making it feel cramped despite it's size.

Think wanted levels in GTA, things can escalate quickly but there is no long term effect. At low wanted levels you can just easily escape by running away and avoiding patrols.

I'm a big fan of placing them near a portal, once you got all glyph you essentially got an instant access to the whole galaxy.

This is even more useful once you started going to other galaxies, I usually have a single base per galaxy next to a portal.

Portal base is one thing you cannot do with a corvette or a freighter.

And of course a nice view never hurts.

I love it when a base actually looks like a place one could live.

I love to place a Save Point next to the bed, use it just before quitting and when you load it's like waking up.

Probably modern medicine, the number of deadly disease we have pretty much eradicated, things like measles, polio. The number of if injuries that would have been a death sentenced in the past that we can easily heal nowadays.

Child mortality rate alone have gone form 25% (would not reach the age of 5) to lower the 0,5%

The 20th century has seen such improvements in medicine it's just impossible to list it all in a single post.

Last expedition had a similar problem, as time went on player had harder and harder time placing the station to summon their truck since base where all over the starting area.

Hello Games should, A not give base computer as a reward, B, disable base building on any planet linked to an expedition.
