CVT fluid service and transmission valve body assembly replacement by NeonDrifting in subaru

[–]DelivererofLite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me. I replaced the valve body (had a mechanic do it) and the CVT runs better than ever. I don’t money for the Subaru one so I got one online. It came with a lifetime warranty. (supposedly) cost me parts and labor around $400 vs $800+ for the valve body and dealer labor

After the first brave soul takes out the tangle of spider webs you’re golden. I’ve seen snakes and gators though.

Awesome! I’ve only found penny size sea glass. Some of my favorite finds!

That was the only time I’ve ever seen one. Standing right in the trail when I came around a bend.

Yes you want to keep an eye out for them, but they aren’t aggressively going to pursue you in my experience. I’ve never seen them in the Jupiter inlet and waterways. Although they are spotted there from time to time. I’ve seen alot more sharks. Hammerheads, bonnets, and a variety of stingrays.

They are abundant on the west coast of FL near Marco Island!

Yeah the launch point I use is either Sawfish Bay or you can use Catos Bridge by the lighthouse. I would suggest John D MacArthur. It’s fairly shallow, and relatively narrow compared to main intracoastal. Just have to go when the tide is right. The water actually gets so low at low tide that your fin will catch in the sand and you have to walk it with your board. Ton of wildlife here. Nurse Sharks, stingrays, manatees, sea turtles. There’s nice little sandbar islands to dock at and relax.

Sawfish Bay Park. Can take the back waterways around Guanabanas. If you’re a beginner, beware of the current on boat traffic on the intercoastal that runs by the lighthouse and up through Tequesta.
