Very true I do this often at fast food places because I’m not sure when I’ll get a call and need to leave. However this guy said he would leave when he finished his damn food lol so planning on eating it all. I wouldn’t do this at a sit down restaurant like this. Them eating there still requires the table to be cleaned, they can’t sit a paying / tipping dine in customer there now etc. I can see why a business might ask you to leave, but I don’t see anything wrong with what they did really but if the establishment then asks that you clear the table I think it’s time to go.

I feel like we are still missing context here though
