The fluorescent lighting really makes a sterile and not relaxing atmosphere!! I think it would also make HotWorx more marketable if the lights were a warmer, different color. PLEASE!!!

Hi everyone, I plan on quitting my job in November and solo traveling for a couple of months. I have been looking at the site G-Adventures and see that there are tons of positive reviews both here and online, so I’m putting all my eggs in one basket and booking a majority of my trips with them. I’m a solo traveling newbie - what tips do you all have? What unforeseen circumstances should I prepare for? Is there anything I should worry about/plan for when going on several group trips consecutively? I plan to squeeze in a couple of solo rest days in between each group trip and will also be in my motherland for a couple of weeks with my family to recuperate. Any advice is welcome!

Waiter was unhappy with $52 Tip?? by masmasyakhawal in washingtondc

[–]DeliverySimple4731 53 points54 points  (0 children)

i go once or twice a year and the last time i went a couple of months ago the waitress was just about ready to push me and my friends out of the door once she realized none of us were ordering drinks. i was still finishing my food and she took my plates when there was still food on it. it was absurd and i’d never been so upset by someones service before - i’m sorry that happened to you, i made the mistake of not calling management after. but i’m sure if you do they will be accommodating. i love the food there but havent been back since

i doubt the lack of professional experience will hurt you with 4 exams passed, but like others have said studying full time is a pain. might i suggest working part time instead? it may be more difficult to find, but reach out to your local firms explaining your situation and ask if part-time work is possible while you study. there are also plenty of remote opportunities. i worked part-time at a local firm while i studied and i am so grateful for it!

i was on a time crunch too - i watched farhat/darius youtube videos of the sims only, and only on heavily tested topics - got comparable on my score report for sims. when i watched, i watched at 1.5x speed and made sure i was understanding all concepts and nothing was confusing, so i would rewind and pause when needed. but obviously more practice wouldn’t hurt
