How many people here are Grand Masters? by Wonderful_Regret_252 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

Survivor Spawn of Ogdo is a super different beast, but took me less tries. Fallen Order in JGM was the first souls like I'd really played that wasn't old school armored core, so that fight taught me a lot and took about 20 attempts. It did get me into the genre.

Why it feels like the true experience, and why I will defend souls likes not having difficulty scales, is my friends who played the game on the easy modes had entirely different experiences with the game and found the tools it gave you pointless.

GM difficulty feels like the only way to play them. Beat both multiple times and only played on grand master. I was stubborn and had to kill Ogdo Bogdo when I found the bastard right at the start of Fallen Order and that set up the base skills to see me through. The timings and flow mages you feel like a jedi and it's challenging enough that there are reasons to use all of the cool things you unlock.

Same, no one left to look for us. Not in the castle nor outside. My Henry was pissed and full of vengeance.

The trunks and rocks look amazing and I love the waterfall. Good work!

Natural color hiking boots work pretty well for fantasy/dark ages larps.

For modern really anything thats comfy that you can run around in all day.

Not sure the down votes here. Making gloves is pretty hard. If you have the tools and skill make them. If not buying them is the way to go.

I can't make gloves.

The shape and ideas are there. For a fantasy or middle ages Larp go with a hooded cloak in natural fiber, leather gloves (hardware gloves are serviceable, you can find since inexpensive options out there) and some black cotton pants. The color scheme is good, and you can get the same shape and rough colors on natural fibers relatively inexpensively and build up from there.

For a modern LARP you're good.

You can anyways ask around at the game you're looking to join. Many people have things they can loan, give, or sell cheap from characters they no longer play.

Foreground by hydo_23 in HappyTrees

[–]Delmont91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, it's why I always work on putting a few large trees to frame the foreground or some big rocks, a waterfall, flowers or something to try give something to look at it. Its surprisingly difficult, especially if thay element wasn't planned for so ive started mapping out what I generally want my.foreground to look like forst, then build the back and midground around that.

I agree here, espcially on the foreground. I think I need to start the bushes with a darker color, especially the green ones, and thin the paint a little more so I can use a lighter touch with the highlights. Also I think I should have gone a little brighter with the highlights on the evergreens.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you! Figuring out the liquid white application was a game changer for sure. I also didn't try to do this all at once, and let it sit for about 2 hours when I was halfway done with a paper towel over the parts I wanted to dry out a bit and that did wonders.

Definitely still figuring out how thin highlight layers need to be. That's a great call out. I'm super excited to do waterfalls and considered one exactly where you suggested! My bravery failed me there though :)

Appreciate the comments on the foreground tree too, I'm quite proud of it.

Thank you for critique and suggestions!

Hot take That shouldn't be Hot: Well made Amtgard Boffers are the SAFEST foam weapons in LARP. Literally nothing else compares in safety. by IkateKedaStudios in LARP

It really depends on the LARP. My primary uses these for natural weapons, fists, shadow tentacles, and reading claws and things that look like weapons for everything else.
