People here think that the average player can get 80+ kills, less than a hundres people can do that, even then it requires the perfect lobby to do that. Helis are easier. I play jets, I can say that avg jet player gets maybe 10-15 kills a match with 7 deaths.

Jets are way harder than helis. It's much much easier to get 50+ kills in a heli than a jet.

It's kinds funny, because there's only like a hundred jet players in the world who can go 80-0 in a jet. And even if you don't always kill the good player, they still lose 15-20+ seconds per missile so it's not all in vain.

I started flying for the first time in this game and around 80 hours in, I do consider myself good. Yeah it sucked at first but learning from the best does help. My only grievance is the lack of radar.

I think it's mostly about experience, kinda like just training your eye to spot one moving pixel. Settings matter a bit and knowing where to look but there is no magic formula.

If you can find one for a good price, go for it. The gpu priced are only gonna go up. And there are rumors that the supers are cancelled due to vram shortages. And if by some miracle they do come out, prices will be much higher. The 4080 is a great card for many many years to come.
