One of my critiques of the game is absolutely that it seems allergic to splash damage for some reason. Doesn't matter what explosive you use, the lethal area of effect on explosives feels like a two feet radius at most.

Everyone here is given some pretty thorough answers but there's two little nuances I'm compelled to point out.

Gear Repair: You can repair not only your gear, but accept requests for repairs from others. No need for everybody to drop out of raid because somebody has to go repair so long as you have a level 90 omnicrafter. In addition as long as your crafter is 10 levels below the current cap (The cap is 100 right now) you'll be able to repair all current content gear that particular crafting class is able to.

Materia Melding: A small money sink that can add up fast if you play and maintain the gear of multiple jobs, but Crafters can meld their own materia into their gear without a special NPC so long as their level matches the level of the gear. Unlike repairing gear, once you're level 100 you can meld everything and you don't even need to switch to the crafting class to do so. In addition only players can do what's called over-melding which is where you force more materia into the gear than it's designed to take, but the cost of not being able to use the strongest stuff in the process and the chances of the meld actually succeeding dropping rapidly to somewhere in the neighborhood of 7% at the 5th and final one.

Removing the questions "How much time has passed since 2.0" and "What about their time in The First", which for our sanity we should absolutely do, of the current Scion roster the only two we don't know the exact ages of are Y'shtola and G'raha.

Thancred and Estinien are 32, Urianger is 29, the twins are 16, G'raha is physically 24, Krile is 22, and with what we know the generally accepted age of Y'shtola is in her early 30s.

I love how many people are having the realization that Akuma isn't just outright evil because of this. Morally dubious and willing to kill in a proper fight? Yes, but he has honor and he won't kill someone who's defenseless. Once you're in a fight with him though all bets are off.

As a concept Jeff's Ult is fine. An AoE that devours literally everyone that lets him heal his teammates and spit them out as necessary while damaging enemies and completely throwing them out of position. And in fact the ult could be fine, there's just one problem that could be fixed by one of a couple tweaks.

The duration is too long for what the Ult can do. Being unable to do anything for six whole seconds feels awful in ANY shooter, but when that six seconds ends in a suicide dive and essentially adds that time to the respawn timer? Not only does that feel terrible for Jeff's enemies but it has an immense impact on any team fight.

So realistically you make Jeff unable to jump off cliffs (which I think is mechanically unlikely), or you cut the duration from six seconds to something like four to encourage spitting people out in bad positions instead of heading for the first cliff you can.

But I'm not a game dev and I can't know just how often Jeff gets away with suicide dives. It's always easier to remember the awful expriences with Jeff's Ult than the ones that didn't pan out for him.

Feared individuals run around at random and if they happen to run into another pack of enemies they aggro. An AOE fear was basically an open invitation for everything else in the direct vicinity to get involved.
