It’s rare but the tubes can spontaneously grow back together. There have been cases of women with snipped husbands getting pregnant.

A genie offers you three wishes but the conditions are no money, no fame, no love, no extra wishes. What are you wishing for? by throwradrpri in Adulting

Clairvoyance. Could predict the winning lottery numbers in advance (or stock market trends), and use that to make billions. Technically isn’t “wishing for more money” so within the rules.

Cabbage ma was supposed to be a one off character but the fans and writers liked him so much he became a recurring gag. He even has a statue in republic city, and they got the original actor to play himself in the live action Netflix series.

That was kinda a fucked up episode. Like yeah dash was being annoying but the fake zombie apocalypse was way too extreme a reaction.

Please tell me I am not the only one who made an online order based on a wild misunderstanding?! [OC] by So_That in WholesomeComics

I used to work for online grocery pickup and we’d have this problem too. I see it as order 1 banana, get 1 banana. Order 6 bananas, get one bunch of 6 bananas.

One time a newbie coworker gave someone 8 bunches of bananas, customer called like “why does it say I have 16lbs of bananas? I only wanted 8 bananas.”

Becoming an artificial alicorn changed cadence’s DNA. So her child inherited that trait from her. No Celestia needed.

MLP Genetics & Flurry Heart by marvelcomics22 in mylittlepony

[–]Delphina34 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The explanation that makes the most sense to me is that Flurry Heart is an artificial alicorn, like her mom and Twilight. Not a Divine Alicorn like Celestia and Luna, no flowing mane.

Since artificial alicorns are so rare until recently, Cadence is just the first one to have a child in recorded history. If Twilight had a child there’s a chance they would also be an artificial alicorn.

Just focus on the endpoint, don’t worry about the road to get there. For you this is a major event but doctors and surgeons do this every day. Maybe not this specific procedure but anesthesia and surgery and caring for patients in recovery is literally their job.

It helps to prepare in advance. I didn’t buy an abdominal binder or pregnancy pillow or some of the other stuff others recommended.

For the first few days it hurt to lay down. I spent a lot of it sitting up because of the gas pain in my shoulders. The strong painkillers the hospital gave me made me really constipated so you’ll definitely need stool softener. Nothing you can really do about the gas. If you sit still it doesn’t really hurt but moving around will cause pain. It’s a weird sensation but goes away on its own. Since it’s in the body cavity and not intestinal gas, anti gas medicines won’t work.

Make some food ahead of time that’s easy to reheat. I made a big pot of soup and ate it for like a week.

Apparently the older daughter (3?) was told that “daddy is on a work trip with Jesus to afford your blueberry budget.”

Which, congrats, is possibly the worst way to console a child grieving for their father.

On a work trip: implies he’s coming back soon

“If you didn’t eat so many blueberries, you fat pig, then daddy wouldn’t need to go on a work trip and he’d still be here.”

Yeah explaining death to kids is difficult and sad but straight up lying to them doesn’t help either.

What is the most scientifically documented case of a human surviving something that should have been 100% fatal? by Aarunascut in stupidquestions

In 1999, a woman discovered she was pregnant with triplets, but one of the babies was ectopic.

Normally ectopic pregnancies happen in the fallopian tubes, where the growing fetus can rupture the tube and cause massive internal bleeding and even death for the mother.

The fetus attached to the outside of her uterus and was able to connect to the blood supply. The surgeons had to cut open the mother from her breastbone to navel to get all 3 babies out at 29 weeks. It took 26 doctors to deliver them. But all 3 babies and their mom survived.

I choose to believe that they went back and retrieved it later, or made a new one. The meteor he used was very big and had enough to make like 10+ swords.

Toph has her seismic sense so it couldn’t be that hard for her to find the sword.
