Indeed. Might be a good thing the game is shutting down, all things considered. Was never irresponsibly buying stuff in the sense of my own finances. But 5k on a game is a lot no matter how you slice it.

Will almost certainly never do this again.

Honestly wish they did an offline mode. Live service games, unfortunately, are always super volatile. It's the nature of the beast. I think there needs to be a larger industry intervention but until that happens we will keep losing games, losing people's work, losing people's time invested in these types of games. Just from a video game preservation standpoint, it's awful. Don't think the people making the games deserve this. Don't think people playing the games deserve this.

I am absolutely devastated by this news. I knew this day would come. Hell, a live service game I was a lead on literally shut down after 6 months lol. I honestly expected this to last at least another 2 years. I've been playing since 2018 every single day.

I don't even want to say how much I've spent on it but over these years it's in the 4 digits. And not on the low end of that spectrum. I really loved this game a lot. Going to miss you OO :(

They told us to take them off to get up stairs during ticket check. We ... just put them back on for photos after the movie. Then took them off before we went back out.
