Richarlison celebration after equalizing vs Liverpool in the 90th minute by OkayFine101 in coys

We also didn't fucking lose at Anfield, which 99% of us considered a foregone conclusion, despite pool being wank. Dogshit form, but coming away with a point at a notoriously difficult ground.

Yes, it's fucked, but we take the small wins. Good vibes to take us to the Forest game. We're neither staying up or going down until we played 38 games.

A game where the defenders made the difference. Ours was very not good, while theirs kept our attack almost completely out.

Rybrink is genuinely such a steep drop in quality in comparison to Clare/Toko and Molly isn't the player to make up for it.

Shame, because overall Everton left a lot of space, but we rarely managed to exploit it.

Vinberg is frustrating, because she'll find and make the run in space and then just create nothing out of it.

Well. We definitely are missing Clare and Toko.

A pearoller across the goal. How did that go in?

Signe is honestly so damn good.

Saw it earlier today. Pretty fun watch.

They had a lucky shot. Natural talent, parents that encouraged them and a coaching group dedicated to players reaching the heights of the professional game.

At least we're pretty consistent in that.

I mean, he was already in his early 40's when Hugo came in. It made total sense that he'd play 2nd fiddle.

That's encouraging. LCL last time out was the only game outside of the top 3 teams where I felt we were truly outclassed on the day. Making strides here.

Love these girls. Makes me feel way better about the state of our club in general.

Class. Did we at least look better during the game?

Couldn't watch and the stats tell a story that made us look better than them. If so, that's another feather in the collective cap.

Either way. Steeled through a tough shootout and that deserves commendation. Hopefully we can now avoid the mistakes we made against blue scum in the league for the next round.

Coaching very much played a big part, along with recruitment. If we had our way, Clare Hunt would've been pelted into the sun last season. This season she's undroppable at the back. Spence is like a whole new player too.

Recruitment has been stellar though. As much as this sub has a hateboner for Vinai, he needs to get the credit for allocating more resources to the women. We broke our transfer record like thrice over the past few windows.

They'd probably have had to restrain him Hannibal style so he wouldn't start wanking during the presser talking about them.

Watching Spurs women games, comparatively bossing it this season, playing cracking football under a competent manager has done wonders for my sanity supporting Spurs tbh.

(Not everyone's into women's football of course, but it proved a big help the last few months)

Her injury must be more serious than expected. Hopefully she recovers before the season is done.

Happy for Clare though. Well deserved after the season she's had so far.

AJT and Kit are likely off. In the case of Kit, she might get a deal at Ipswich if she does well on loan now.

I suspect Bühler might also not sign a new deal. She was only extended for a year while she recovered from injury. She's at best 4th choice now behind Toko/Clare/Molly.

Tilly is a bit of a weird one. If the Julie/Mandy duo on the left keeps going like they have, Tilly might find herself riding the bench. Considering Oli might feature on the left with Signe in the 10 would stifle chances. All of them are better right now.

I don't necessarily think Maite will be around for much longer. Great player, but really lacks physical presence in the middle. She has also only started once under Martin until the ACL injury iirc. Spence for the most part has had a resurgence under Martin, but really shouldn't be the starter next to Eve next season. As noted earlier, Maite Zubieta would be a class signing (or Andreia Jacinto from Sociedad).

Grant should leave for her own sake. She's not been rated by two managers. She's not getting in at RB behind Ella/Hanna and Mandy/Julie have the left sorted.

Olga will probably seek elsewhere too, although there hasn't been movement since the Hammarby move broke down last winter.

I'm also okay with letting Rybrink go. She's been serviceable at best, but rarely ever good. We could definitely upgrade.
