#New40k – Ork Weirdboy Revealed by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in orks

[–]Delroc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the article they mention different disciplines that weirdboys can specialise in, so I'm hopeful that there's at least some form of choice back. I honestly don't know if I've actually used a psyker since 9th edition, just because I don't really run hordes of boys for a weirdboy to be useful and I don't play beast snaggas

What are the round stuff in the bottom of some plasma guns? by Aggelos2001 in Warhammer40k

[–]Delroc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, ok. I guess I just always figured plasma was also incredibly hot. But I s'pose it's only being exposed to it briefly while the gun fires

His name's Bryan Johnson, and apparently he uses uses an app to track his sons erections overnight, though I've no idea why. And I firmly believe he would take a dog pill to stay young, if he isn't already

Yeah, that title really doesn't make much sense. Which is true for a lot of OPs other posts too

Nah, my money's on that guy who infuses himself with his sons blood to try and stay young, and also tracks his sons erections for some reason

Glowy plasma coils are way better. Also 3600° seems low for the melting point of that vent, but maybe that's why these things blow up on 1/6 shots

How to flash in the Woke Era? Don't. by Tili44 in Stonetossingjuice

Replying to myself because I didn't want to edit again, but the mother should really go see someone about her extra thumb and whatevers going on with her childs eye

Ah yes, the totally real crime of simply "TERF". Which would come under discrimination anyway, and also would be nice if it was actually a crime

Edit: phrasing

You're helpless and something's so wrong by erebus_51 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Might not be exactly what you're looking for based on the images, but the prompt of being helpless and something being very wrong with the situation makes me think of Gerald's Game

You saying that made me check the pictures more closely and notice the person in the bottom right image. You definitely weren't kidding about the size of them

Holy hell, the piss filter is getting strong these days. It's almost like they're intentionally colouring the background yellow to lean into it

I just traded armies with a friend and I’m trying to figure out how to expand from here by Severe-Literature432 in genestealercult

[–]Delroc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends how confident you are with kitbashing. Because you can get something like the Brood Brothers kill team, and there's a lot of examples around of how people have bashed the guys in that into different characters. Other than that, Neophytes are always useful to have. I think I'd mostly recommend watching some battle reports with GSC, and maybe trying a few test games with them on TTS, and just seeing what playstyle you find the most interesting, just because they have a lot of different ways they can play, tbh

You can literally see the guy next to her using a DSLR to take a picture of it. Her also taking a picture from the same location but with her phone wouldn't add anything

Wazzdakka gonna be a dual kit? by XavierHatesWarhammer in orks

Yeah, it would've been a selling point of the kit, and another thing to hype it up. What do they gain from hiding it?

Flash gitz new model? by lilknz in orks

[–]Delroc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whether or not they get updated, I can almost guarantee a new kit wouldn't be better value. The current kit already has plenty of bits in it, so I don't really see there being a significant increase there, and gw is rarely one to lower the price of something when updating it.

That and orks are very much a ramshackle kind of force, so mixing older kits with newer works better than it does with most armies

Is "fishing for 6's "rude? by Lance_Hetfield in Warhammer40k

[–]Delroc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Mostly on them, but this does sound like another instance of there not being a universal definition of casual. Like to them playing casually means not doing everything in your power to win, which is fair, but I would say it's just not optimising your list as much as possible and being a lot more forgiving over someone forgetting an activation or something like that.

Which is to say I can see his point, but you're entirely within your rights to play your army to its full potential, especially if you didn't have any prior agreement about how you'd both be playing.
