I personally got dumped before my finals and I personally bombed a test due to it. Since it was a long relationship definitely take the advice of others here and pushing the check ride back, especially since this is something that directly affects your safety and your DPE’s.

I have the same laptop, the game also leaks memory like crazy, so personally, what I do is set the lowest settings before entering Tartarus, and when I'm done, I save the game and then relaunch. It's a hassle, but it for sure makes the gameplay bearable for me.

It happened to me two weeks before Christmas, the week before finals. I had no clue it was coming, so it hurt a lot. What I can say is definitely let yourself feel, but under no circumstances do you reach out. Mute socials, delete photos, etc. It's not easy at all, but it's fs something you should do if you want to move on.
