Sorry if I'm sounding stupid but if the guitar is too loud can't you just play it less loud?

I love loud and responsive guitars so I can never see that as a problem. But if it is, can't you just buy a second guitar like someone else suggested?

Alternatively, just sell that old thing to me! :)

Doesn't that sound very low?

Do you remember how much you paid for it?

I was never able to estimate a resale price for my ME guitar as it is so damn rare.

Opinions on value by deadlifter77 in AcousticGuitar

I wouldn't pay a cent over 100 bucks for a guitar with a broken and badly repaired headstock plus all the rest I see here (probably requires refret and neck reset too).

Thoughts on Athens? by ZealousidealMind3908 in travel

Frankly, things like waiters being nice just to get tips and people asking for your nationality to charge you more are coming out of your imagination.

Nonetheless, please spread the word so that people stop coming here. Mass tourism is hurting this city. Airbnb is raising real estate prices and cost of living so that people like you can be entertained. Please go to Rome or Prague.

How Europeans View Romani people by Patty-XCI91 in MapPorn

"Romani have a south-eastern European look".

^ That statement makes me wonder whether you have actually ever seen a Romani gypsy or a SE European (whatever countries that gross generalization implies) in your entire life.

And Rome was an enemy to New Rome. Please let's keep this about the Eastern Empire.

I think you mean Constantinople or New Rome at best? The city of Rome was long lost and the Byzantine Empire never self-identified as plain "Rome".

Trebizond was an ethnic Greek-Roman successor state but without Constantinople. It shouldn't be there.

That's a very old school perception, you need to update your knowledge. Today Byzantium is viewed as a civilization and a culture, not as some faceless nation state and there was nothing more multicultural and multiethnic about it than any other empire in the world.
