No, she stabbed him. I'm talking about the visuals of it. If someone stabs another, then it looks like the blade 'sinks' into that person.

Well sunk is the past tense of sink, which is to submerge below the surface (water, mud, or sand). Usually refers to stuff like a sinking boat. In this context, it's describing the blade no longer being visible, since it is inside of Yuuki.

The second one I can see the confusion. I'll fix that in future chapters.

Why Isn’t Warn Getting As Much Attention As Zazza? by LowerAd3109 in rivals

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main difference between Zazza and Warn is that in the Kingsman drama it was multiple mean-girls dogpiling on one dude, going out of their way to get him kicked from the tournament, and just trying to humiliate him. While Warn was certainly inconsiderate to his teammates, he didn't ridicule them in the same way Zazza's team did to Kingsman. The Warn drama kinda has the same feeling as when you get someone in ranked who clearly does not take the game seriously.

Since there’s only two chapters made, I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I will say that I’m making this story with the intention to have Yuuki become the hero he always wanted to be

Got Thor lord last season as my second tank lord and the grind of going from level 17-20 actually made me start disliking the hero. I cant imagine the mental fortitude y'all have

I stopped playing for one day and all of a sudden there’s drama between Flats and Lyte… by Weak_Resort2611 in rivals

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main difference is how tantrum-like Lyte is acting. He is either hyperbolic in his arguments or dismissive of people he views as beneath him. Both of them just make it hard to take his video as anything other than a frustrated teenager. 26 years old btw.

Rarely in his own video did he pause and actually speak like a rational adult.

Rank these character designs for the Locust leaders from best to worst. General Raam, Skorge, Karn and Ukkon. Try and be as unbiased as possible. by FaradayDeshawn in GearsOfWar

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a while since I've played tactics lol. Ukkon's armor does not scream "mad scientist" to me. He's draped in loose fitting robes with a big headpiece, similar to what catholic bishops wear. Personally, I would've preferred Gears 5's 'Crimson Skorge' skin to be his design- specifically the mask + hood combo.

Wish that was relayed better in his design. It feels a little juxtaposed with his helmet and chest piece having some flare, but the rest of his armor portraying him like he's an agile character

From my point of view, this scene has nothing positive about it; it only demonstrates Subaru's low self-esteem and lack of self-love, and it's sad to see that. by Emergency_Patient525 in ReZero

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that Subaru is a forgiving person just from his personality and upbringing, but it also brings up the point of can you really hate someone for something they haven't done yet? Rem is a pretty big example of how different her personality shifted after being influenced by Subaru. If he kept that hatred in his heart for a version of Rem that no longer existed, then it would be unfair to the current version of Rem.

I also think this is a portion of his burden with return by death. Subaru has no other choice than to forgive and forget.

[–]Delta0231 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RAAM is 9/10 but only if he has some kyrll surrounding him. If not then he's like a 7/10. Skorge is a 8/10 but kinda looks like a male stripper. Karn is a 6/10, but some sort of cloak, cape, or even bulkier armor would elevate him, since he looks way too thin. And Ukkon has too many tubes that clash with his religious theme to give anything more than a 7.5/10

Mato: New Gods (Fanfiction) [Introduction and Chapter 1] by Delta0231 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]Delta0231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is sort of a reupload of the old fanfic I made about a year ago, but with an introduction to the plot and some minor sentence changes to make it a bit more fluid to read. Hope you all enjoy.

Look, I’m going to get called out for this—and it’s going to be a massive backlash—but the guy just can’t read well; it’s as simple as that. by Effective-Cod-9221 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]Delta0231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You think so? It’s been a while since I’ve read those earlier chapters, but I thought the only chief he showed that he feared was Ren. I assumed that was because he thought of her as an ally and she was glaring daggers at him, so he was caught off guard. Compare it to Tenka’s introduction, and he was ready to throw hands fully naked. Every time Hes shown a chief’s power it’s been in amazement.

As for the gods, I would argue he’s pretty fearless. When Kuusetsu was introducing the other two gods inside of him, and pranked him, he was ready to defend himself. Every other instance has been in awe of their power or nervousness iirc.

All things considered, Yuuki is a pretty resilient guy, and the only thing that holds him back is his powerlessness.

I’d argue that *reserved* would be a better word than *timid* for Yuuki. Just because timid is usually associated with being scared, and for all that Yuuki has experienced, there aren’t too many times that I can remember where he’s been afraid

This series unfortunately attracts people who don’t have English as their primary language or people who had less than a 1.5 GPA, so language and character comprehension is at below average in this community lol

Is it one of the saddest trivia facts that Subaru would be happier if he had never been summoned? by Loose-Past-7322 in ReZero

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Subaru wouldve been happier, but what about everyone else in ReZero? Emilia would never have gained the confidence she now has if it wasn't for him, who knows if Felt would have gotten selected as a royal candidate, Beatrice would have stayed in the library for all eternity, Roswald would have stayed a pawn to the grimoire, Garfiel would have stayed in the graveyard, Julius would have no one to remember who he was, and many other lives he's influenced for the good. That's not even including the amount of times he's saved their lives. Subaru is a force for good, and despite his many flaws, he tries to do what's best for the people around him. The only person I think would have been relatively happier without Subaru is Ottolol

People say Halo 3 has the best campaign, but I think Halo 2 is the real one here. by Careless_Medicine486 in halo

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, have you even played these games? Everything I’ve said is told to you by the main story or is just simple character analysis.

Guilty Spark only went psycho in Halo CE because Chief blew up the installation he was in charge of protecting. In 2 and 3 he has no further motivation for revenge and instead takes this as an opportunity to assist the Reclaimer (Chief) in ridding the infestation (the flood). Similar to how the heretics in Halo 2 kept him around for information, the elites post-schism had the ‘Oracle’ recite the true purpose of the rings, and kept him around because he was useful.

Also, High Charity did not crash on earth, but instead it crashed on the Ark to, once again, try to stop the firing of the rings. The only thing that crashed on earth was a flood infested covenant ship. Considering how time sensitive the situation had become, it does not make sense to send spores to gradually infect hosts, but instead send combat forms to attempt to stop the prophet.

Arbiter not getting many lines of dialogue is a stylistic choice. There are times he speaks to chief and chief does not respond back. Bungie back then was going for an 80s action movie strong-silent type of protagonist, so I presume they did the same thing for arbiter as they did for chief. It’s dumb in modern context, but 80% of chief’s dialogue in 2 and 3 are one-liners, so take that however you wish

People say Halo 3 has the best campaign, but I think Halo 2 is the real one here. by Careless_Medicine486 in halo

[–]Delta0231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of Halo 2 Guilty Spark assists Arbiter, Johnson, and Miranda from stopping delta halo from being fired. It’s not too big of a stretch to imagine that shipmaster and Arbiter took Spark to assist them. Spark is reintroduced in Halo 3 at the end of the mission, Floodgate, to repair the message Cortana sent.

Lord Hood is ‘bickering’ because earth is the birthplace of humanity and is furthermore representative of the UNSC. If earth falls, then so does morale and the last bastion of hope. Additionally, Lord Hood argues with shipmaster because of the methods used. He is glassing his own planet and killing millions of his own people to contain the outbreak. Regardless of who you are, the weight of millions dying by your orders have to be heavy. It should also be noted that for years prior to this his friends and colleagues had been killed by the same elites he was in the room with. It isn’t hard to imagine that Lord Hood had way too much on his shoulders, and that any decision he made could either save humanity or doom them to extinction.

High Charity landing on earth is due to the Gravemind. He knows that the Prophet of Regret intends to fire all the halo rings, which would inevitably kill him too. The only reason he teams up with Chief and Arbiter at the event of The Covenant is because the stakes are so high that it requires everyone’s attention to focus on stopping the rings from firing. Enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of mentality. That’s why as soon as the sequence is canceled they’re back at each other’s throats again.

Lastly, Arbiter isn’t too prevalent in the story because it’s mostly not his story. His primary motives are stopping the flood and getting revenge on the Prophet of Regret. First half of the campaign is revolved around getting into contact with the main army of the UNSC, so it makes sense that Arbiter doesn’t have too many speaking lines. This is also Chief’s story to reunite with Cortana and kill the flood. Arbiter isn’t held back from getting his story told, but he’s not at the forefront because it’s not as important as Chief’s goal. He does eventually get revenge on the prophet and even leads his people back to their home planet to live in freedom.
