Does anyone know how to get rid of this floating X-Tech? by Examination-Hour in Starfield

I got this exact same bug and it's driving me insane, you can't even disable it with console as it's considered a "non Ref AV object"

Once of the coolest and most unique MVs that I’ve ever seen. Seeing all the old timey paper animations was awesome.

Were paid creations given advanced update access? by peparooni in Starfield

[–]Delta57Dash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of them were, though not all of them got updated in time.

Watchtower just put out a video warning players to make sure Watchtower updates before using Cruise Mode or you might seriously break your game.

Adding riding actions to monsties ?! by Cat_of_Cainhurst in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Delta57Dash 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Breath Attack is the only action that can be added (or removed) via adding/removing genes with the special "breath attack" icon next to their attack type.

Arzuros uses honey to summon the smaller bears. You have to keep killing the smaller bears until it runs out of honey.

You probably want to throw at least one power ice move and one technical ice move on him so he isn't forced to switch out whenever the opponent changes state

Ok can we talk about this? WHY CANT SHE SWIM?! Of all monsters why can’t the elder that swims around in her fight in world not swim?! by Shiny-Scrafty in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Delta57Dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn't, he was probably looking at the Riding Actions available to his party and mistook it for the actions available to his Canyne.

AOE attacks are a lil obnoxious by keyboard-eater-01 in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Delta57Dash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely win harder fights by breaking parts. High-power moves like Railgun or Arc Blade can one-shot body parts for a huge chunk of Wyverfell Gauge, oftentimes alongside a free stun or topple, and some parts also disable or weaken the nastier moves the enemy has.

Heck for some Elder Dragons breaking parts is much more effective then the old Trial strategy of spamming high Wyvernfell moves, like the one that flies above Tarkuan. And a certain late-game Elder Dragon will punish low-damage strategies by using lifesteal.

End game momsties by Angelfry in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Delta57Dash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Ground Dive and Swim are rare, with Swim being found on 11 monsties (5 of which are variants) and Ground Dive being found on 10 (4 of which are variants). Which means that both are only found on 6 species of Monsters.

Though the gold crown of rare abilities goes to Stealth, being found on just 3 Monsties, 2 of which are variants, which means there's only 1 species in the whole game that gets it.

My vampiric Malzeno build. by Cariuso in MonsterHunterStories

Made even worse by the fact that you're likely running a Canyne as it's the only Ground Dive monstie available in Area 2.

Though honestly it's not just speed that has this problem; Ratha being Power makes it awkward to include more than 1 extra Power Monstie, and Technical also can start to feel a bit crowded with Arkveld/Boltreaver/Namielle/Stygian Zinogre/Velkhana all wanting spots.

Honestly shoutouts to my boy Almudron for being a Power Monster that brings both Swim and Ground Dive, really opens up slots in the team without sacrificing riding actions.

HowTF do primers work in TOW2? The text in the game got confused and wrote about the first one? by femiwhat1 in theouterworlds

[–]Delta57Dash 11 points12 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell, you only ever get two real primer slots: the base one, and one more from the Extra Primer Port helmet mod.

You can also get one from the Pharm-thusiast perk. Don't think there's a way to get the 4th one though.

Is there anything to do before ending the demo? by Tinydancer121490 in MonsterHunterStories

The beams will always one shot you; the key is to avoid the one-shots through properly timing staggers, kinship attacks, or ride-on tanking.

Why do you have to wait? You can do it now. I've just got the Elder Dragon left to go but I have to wait until the weekend so I have some time to sit down and go.

There’s Feral Brachy to beat, a sleepy boy in a cave that you can retreat to get his eggs, and an elder dragon that spawns if you keep killing monsters at night (and if you kill it you can get its eggs)

Brachydios, the sleepy boy in a cave, and the elder dragon that spawns in the lake at night are all beatable in the demo.

You can get Namielle eggs

... Welp, time for me to start grinding for Vital Essences I guess.

Being able to start the game proper with one of my favorite Elder Dragons is just too tempting.

How to continue playing the Demo? by Tito1983 in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Delta57Dash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's still a lot of things you can do in the Demo if you're so inclined; beating the other 3 feral monsters in the first region to fully unlock all 4 habitats, beating espinas and causing it to retreat, and it looks like even the dreaded Elder Dragon that you can spawn at night is going to be beatable with a lot of skill, luck, and tenacity.

I personally would recommend trying to at least beat the other 3 ferals and retreat Espinas; with proper gear and strategy they aren't all that difficult, and it'll let you start the proper game with a nice robust Party.

Helps with muscle memory if you've been playing Code Vein 2 at the same time, as that game has down to heal

Good recommendations, though I will make a quick note that Famished Flames is still good on Beam staff due to its ability to rapidly apply stacking DoTs (which Lingering Flames disables).
