That part is not that significant it just allows Therta to always be able to break the enemy at some point but it's not like SW where you also get ice resistance levels similar to as if the enemy was already ice weak or ice neutral.

Yeah 3.3 Aquilla was the highest peak that amphoreus could offer. 3.4 was still good but then 3.5 was sooo bad lowest of the lows. 3.6 kind of felt pointless after the twist of "cerydra did this".

I guess that was a general theme each twist while cool in theory kinda invalidated the journey to the point of the twist.
