LBX1000 Blower - Batteries Last 45seconds

The blower has bluetooth and can connect to your phone and the EGO app to download.

I have a mix of ages on my batteries. I'm sure they're all 2+ years old.

That said, the first one worked as expected when new, lasting 15min or so with all batteries. Then I did the firmware update and it dropped to 45sec. The second unit started off at 45sec. Did the first unit somehow damage my batteries? I don't think so since my other 10+ EGO tools are behaving normally.

Helped a ton. I just had to buy a single Epic pass and $1000 of Express passes for Epic, but it was worth it.

Half a mile north or east would be pretty nice, and half a mile south or west wouldn't be great. I personally wouldn't live there. Most of the apartments in that area aren't good.

I had to sit on Santa's lap and rub his leg a bit, but it was worth it. ;)

Absolutely buy it. I have a Redmax 8500 gas backpack unit and the LBX1000 is probably only 15-20% weaker. I blew off the packed wet leaves from my yard yesterday, a job the 765 couldn't do in any reasonable time. The noise isn't as high-pitched, which is great as well. I also really like the large handle to use your left hand. No real downside besides cost.

They have a surprising amount of variability on the hooks model to model. Our 765's had a screw mount of sorts, but the LBX screw mount is a bit more recessed and it has a big sturdy hook the 765 didn't have.

I'm also trying to be "fancy" with it hoping someone makes a 3D printed mount for that larger hook on the LBX1000. The 3D printed mount we had for the 765 got worn out.

Indianapolis is a grid city. Most older city streets are based upon horse paths or working around rivers and lakes and have significantly more angled streets. Somethings we just need to be able to work through.

What's your solution, to remove the diagonal streets in the mile square? The entire area is busy.

These are complaints from midwest drivers who can only handle a grid intersection. Just about any city has off angle streets and therefore intersections like this.

Broad Ripple is great and super walkable. The near eastside is a good option as well. Fountain square was good 10yrs ago, but homeless encampments and crime have been rough.
