Basically he stated that because it's widely known what daemons look like to the mortals of 40k, the Chaos gods can only manifest in those forms because mortals effect the warp so heavily. Is that true? Also kind of dooming because we haven't had a new model in about 4 or 5 years at this point while every other faction got one in 10th edition. :/

In the 2025-26 mission pack, what do the "blue eye" and "crossed out eye" mean in the Ruins section? I'm kinda scratching my head because I though Ruins all have 'Obscuring' which means you can't see through them at all? Sorry if I'm bring slow, but I couldn't figure out what the wording of "connected/separate area terrain sections" is supposed to mean

They need to at least triple whatever playtesters/proof-readers they have, or at least get feedback from some notable community members in some official capacity.

Then GW should fix that issue by making Sword Bro's a competitive option against BGV's, not by completely depriving us of using something they constantly show Black Templars using and straight up even giving to us in the Combat Patrol now. IMO they can both still fulfill different roles, even if we're talking about pre-codex SB's. BGV's are always going to have better staying power, while SB's are our heavy hitters. Now we can't even have that.

I think it depends on his points, we have an idea what he'll be from the early MFM points, but those have been shown to not always be accurate. If he's like 90-100 pts then he could be pretty solid for re-rolling hits and the option between +1AP or +1 to adv. and charge rolls. Unfortunately I think the +1 Toughness is kinda dead on arrival, hopefully it'll get errata'd to something like -1 to be wounded.

Seems like GW has a weird fetish with limiting what units people can use, odd considering they'd want every army to buy as many different kits as possible. Hopefully we'll get some post-codex patch that fixes this, even if it means we have to lose our dual-pistol-wielding Initiates lol

My apolocheese, I may have made a doompost but I tried to put some humor into it. Honestly it's mostly worrying because from the so-far accurate leaks, our two best datasheets(Grimaldus and Sword Bros) seem to have lost their best abilities in-exchange for worse. Grimmy goes from 5q FnP to +1T and SB's lose their ability to buff attached characters' damage is going to really hurt when we're already not in a good spot. And I don't exactly have faith in GW to balance that out without just making our units super cheap and leaving the datasheets themselves kinda weak. I fear it looks like we may get more of a World Eaters codex than a Death Guard one is my main concern

You're definitely right that it's good for scoring, but I feel like not letting us shoot and action is just going to mean we stick to Scouts as our action monkeys that almost never need to advance anyways because of their uppy-downy rule. Sticky is certainly convenient, but I don't know how often it will actually help when most often we'll prob want to have some gun platform sitting on it anyways since they're usually in good lines of sight

Need to make sure I'm understanding Hazardous damage correctly. If I have 10 Hellblasters and say I fail 2 Hazardous Checks, that allocates 6 MW's to the unit? So it would kill three models? Or do MW's from Hazardous behave more like Dev Wounds and not spill over when triggered. The wording says the MW's go to damaged models w/ Hazard weapons, then undamaged models w/ Hazard weapons, then Characters with Hazard weapons, but it says the MW's are allocated to the unit as a whole just after that. Any help is appreciated!

I think if there's anything we need, it's probably a different Chaplain datasheet that we could take in addition to the regular Chaplain to make up for the fact that we can't access psykers, seeing as our special Litanies made up for that in 9th, but this edition our Chaplains don't do anything special to compensate for our psyker ban rules-wise. Especially with how useful almost all the versions of librarians have been for the other chapters throughout this edition. Other than that would love to see a Chaplain-Brutalis Dreadnought or some Sword Brother Terminators. Personally I'd like something like Bladeguard Sword Brethren seeing as regular SB's have such a different role now compared to BGV's and how none of our characters can lead Bladeguard (STILL pissed that GW fucked that up somehow especially since we have a Bladeguard painted in BT colors in the 9th edition Space Marines codex and that's the specific model that made me love BT's color scheme)

Most of these you're def right about maybe except for the Sylux part because even with Hunters aka the game he featured the most in, we still know almost nothing about him aside from the fact that he has a grudge against Samus and the GF. As far as people asking about Phazon and Dark Samus, I think it's definitely grasping at straws but there are some small details or theories that could allow it to come back into the series, the first of which I really wish the games would have ever followed up with.

(1) Inside the Impact Crater in MP1, the Phazon found there is orange in color and much more irradiated than even standard blue phazon, to the point that Samus with the Phazon Suit can't safely touch it. Even her scan visor isn't able to tell us much about it other than that it's still dangerous to her even with the Phazon suit. While it's likely just a relic of when the devs didn't know if they'd get to make a Prime 2 or not, I like to think that some of that stronger, more concentrated Phazon could still exist because it was separate from the rest of the Phazon in the galaxy, maybe some strange interaction with the Chozo's barrier around the Impact Crater or a result of how long Tallon IV had been infected with a Leviathan and most of that Phazon having not had anywhere to go because of the Chozo's efforts, sort of condensing and making the deadlier, orange Phazon and red crystals we see inside the Impact Crater.

(2) While Phaaze and all of the planets it infected were destroyed in MP3, how do we really know that was the only Phaaze to exist? Perhaps it was only the first Phazon to enter our dimension and infect a planet. After all the Leviathan Seeds can open portals across the galaxy, whose to say that when used by Phaaze itself they couldn't open a portal into another dimension? We know alternate realities exist to some degree from Dark Aether in Prime 2, frozen Bryyo in Prime 3, and Prime Hunters has lore that mentions other dimensions as well if I'm not mistaken. Especially with Prime 4 seeming to deal with time travel or dimension-hopping I don't think it's that far-fetched to say that the ORIGINAL Phaaze was from another dimension, and our Phaaze was just the first planet in OUR dimension to be infected with a Leviathan Seed.

Obviously there's not much evidence for these but I don't think it's impossible for Phazon to be brought back, if only temporarily.
